Remember the challenges go: Premiere-Hallmark Acting-Ball-Disco-Bossy Rossy-Rusical-Snatch Game-Makeover-Branding-Roast-HISTQ Acting Gottmik Condragulations - Safe Hallmark Films - Safe Bag Ball - HIGH Discomentary - LOW (over Utica) Bossy Rossy - HIGH Rusical - HIGH Snatch Game - WIN Makeover - HIGH Branding - BTM2 (over Tina or Utica - should've been Mik and Olivia) Roast - WIN Acting - WIN (not mad at all at Rosè but I think Mik's OTT hammy B-Movie acting was perfect for the challenge and I laughed more at Mik) Safe-Safe-HIGH-Low-HIGH-HIGH-WIN-HIGH-BTM2-WIN-WIN Wins: 3 Bottom: 1 This one may be a tad biased on my part but I think as well as being protected a couple of times, she did better than she got credit for a few times too! Kandy Condragulations - LOW (easily the worst there, would have deserved elimination is this was a traditional competitive episode) Hallmark Films - Safe Bag Ball - Safe Discomentary - BTM2 (I do think she won the lipsync over Tamisha sadly) Bossy Rossy - Safe (good so not totally undeserving of the high but she wasn't better than Rusical - ELIM** (definitely should have gone here) Snatch Game - Safe Makeover - HIGH Branding - LOW Roast - HIGH Acting - BTM2 (again she did win the lipsync imo) LOW-Safe-Safe-BTM2-Safe-ELIM-(Safe-HIGH-LOW-HIGH-BTM2) Win: 0 Bottom: 3 Imagine that run for a finalist :lol: Rosè Phenomenon - TOP 2 Hallmark Films - HIGH Bag Ball - HIGH Discomentary - HIGH (over Elliot) Bossy Rossy - Safe (controversial but I think Mik's character paired with Olivia deserved the high bouncing off of each other, but still a good showing) Rusical - WIN Snatch Game - Safe (tough one, her/Symone/Denali all deserved high but I think Symone/Denali edge it) Makeover - LOW Branding - WIN Roast - HIGH Acting - HIGH (like I said, I'd have just given it to Mik but not mad at her at all winning) TOP2-HIGH-HIGH-HIGH-Safe-WIN-Safe-LOW-WIN-HIGH-HIGH WIN: 2 Bottom: 0 When you look at her run like this... *.* It was toss-up putting her high for her safes and so the makeover was her only misstep for me. April 12, 20214 yr Ok I though I had these as we went along but no. Looking at mine it kinda becomes clear why I don't rate this season in terms of the results we got. It feels gaslighty and I guess because the season has been so long we've forgotten some of the bits that happened near the start that were infuriating. so from the bottom to the top: Kandy Premiere - LWIN (Lipsync) Condragulations - LOW Hallmark Films - SAFE Bag Ball - SAFE Discomentary - B2 Bossy Rossy - SAFE Rusical - B2 Snatch Game - SAFE Makeover - SAFE Branding - B2 Roast - HIGH Acting - B2 Finale - B2 For a run of: LWIN-LOW-SAFE-SAFE-B2-SAFE-B2-SAFE-SAFE-B2-HIGH-B2-B2 Not very impressive for a finalist. Gottmik Premiere - LOSE (Lipsync) Condragulations - LOW Hallmark Films - SAFE Bag Ball - HIGH Discomentary - B2 Bossy Rossy - SAFE Rusical - SAFE Snatch Game - HIGH Makeover - SAFE Branding - LOW Roast - HIGH Acting - WIN Finale - HIGH For a run of: LLOSE-LOW-SAFE-HIGH-B2-SAFE-SAFE-HIGH-SAFE-LOW-HIGH-WIN-HIGH Not too bad, but with only one win it's not really setting the world alight. Symone Premiere - LOSE (Lipsync) Condragulations - TOP2 Hallmark Films - WIN Bag Ball - LOW Discomentary - SAFE Bossy Rossy - HIGH Rusical - B2 Snatch Game - WIN (this one I was rock solid on Symone winning instead of being SAFE!) Makeover - HIGH Branding - HIGH Roast - LOW Acting - HIGH Finale - B2 For a run of: LLOSE-TOP2-WIN-LOW-SAFE-HIGH-B2-WIN-HIGH-HIGH-LOW-HIGH-B2 Not too bad with two wins and scattered B2s. That's a respectable score for Symone Rosè Premiere - LOSE (Lipsync) Phenomenon - TOP 2 Hallmark Films - HIGH Bag Ball - HIGH Discomentary - HIGH Bossy Rossy - WIN Rusical - WIN Snatch Game - HIGH Makeover - WIN Branding - WIN Roast - WIN Acting - HIGH Finale - WIN And this is why I think it was a poor season overall. I don't even like Rosè particularly. She's not one of my favourite queens of the season. But she cleaned up this competition by being good enough at all the challenges that it was rare for someone to surpass her. These challenges in this season were not really tailored to the skills of the other contestants as much. So anyway that makes Rosè's run: LLOSE-TOP2-HIGH-HIGH-HIGH-WIN-WIN-HIGH-WIN-WIN-WIN-HIGH-WIN - a record 6 wins plus a top 2 in the one season. The thing is, I feel like if the show hadn't knocked out all of the competition, Rose would not have been half so dominant. If the season 12 girls had done this season's challenges, the wins would be more split. But in this season, for whatever reason, Rosè was the only dedicated singer and actor that they cast - as well as being the most experienced hostess and comedian, - apart from Tina Burner, who struggled with the whole thing, and was also one of the strongest dancers, and a passable sewer and designer. Half the cast were models and none of the challenges were suited to them.

Ultimately I thought that Tina & Rose best executed the task of 'look like each other', although Tina's makeup job on Rose was poor. As for the ball, Tamisha & Symone were much of a muchness and Symone could have done with receiving critiques at that stage of the competition. E: Btw, these are just my opinions. I don't mean anyone to take them as me insisting that I am right and everyone else is wrong. Ultimately I want everyone to feel comfortable sharing & contributing!

April 12, 20214 yr Yeah, as I say, Gottmik is my winner! But I haven't seen anything to suggest she's a good lip syncer and she realistically should've been there twice now, so I do think she's lucky!
April 12, 20214 yr It's kind of ironic / a jab at viewers the final song being called Lucky, isn't it? When two of the final 4 have been saved in a double shantay and a third has dodged the bottom 2 every time she's fell B3 because they didn't think they could justify a save. Meanwhile Rose is UNLucky to not be appreciated on the season :')
April 12, 20214 yr Author Rosé has three wins and has been constantly called flawless and an all rounder, what's being appreciated if she's not?! :lol: At the time I wouldn't have cared had Mik gone which is insane as she's my winner now! I don't really care that she can't lipsync as well as some others, I'd rather see her doing something like her Roast live than a load of lipsyncs personally, I think the lipsync premiere was really to get a measure of who they had to protect from lipsyncing though.
April 13, 20214 yr Rose has been SO appreciated??? I’m not a fan of her at all but I can see why people are and the judges have loved her and given her a better track record than any queen there- and one of the strongest of all time!
