May 19, 20215 yr to quote blacksquare, this is a song that exists. this does nothing for me unforch, ugh Sorry for your loss x
May 19, 20215 yr I’m really enjoying this, it’s got me hyped for the album. Is it just me or does the back track sound very 00’s. Rachel Stevens-ish almost.
May 19, 20215 yr Yeah, I got that early-mid 00's Goldfrapp/Rachel Stevens disco-indie-pop sorta vibe from it too. Really liking this one! 3 for 3. Hyped for the album
May 20, 20215 yr Good it isn’t just me then. It took me a while to warm to Mans World, but I like it now. This though, this is great.
May 20, 20215 yr This is my favourite so far!! The production is so fun. It feels like it was written as a song first, whereas the previous two feel they may have been written with the message first.  Feels like classic Marina but definitely with the vibe of a new era. Hoping for more like this on the album, which I can’t believe is only two weeks away!
May 20, 20215 yr She’s doing a live online performance in the middle of a desert on June 13: @1395064128218099716 Not sure how comparable prices are with similar online live shows but they seem a bit more pricey for what is an online show oops. She said in her live stream that the vinyl is coming and it’s brilliant but... that was it
May 20, 20215 yr Tickets are nearly twice the amount I paid for Dua's Studio 2054 last year! At least she has a timezone for Africa though which Dua didn't
May 20, 20215 yr to quote blacksquare, this is a song that exists. this does nothing for me unforch, ugh She now writes like a teenager writing their first song after watching videos about the ills of society on Tik Tok.  Production is cute though x
May 20, 20215 yr The lyrics to this are AWFUL and it feels like it goes on a minute too long. Not for me :(.
June 4, 20215 yr Still loving Ancient Dreams, definitely my favourite of the three so far! Can’t believe the album is only one week away! 😱 Venus Fly Trap sounded so good from the clip she posted before!
June 9, 20215 yr I'm back on board with her in a way I've not been since Electra Heart. So excited to hear VFT!
June 9, 20215 yr Reviews have been great so far :cheer: Gigwise 10/10 There are few stars like MARINA who find the balance between being unfiltered in their politics while also creating top-tier, intricate pop music. The Arts Desk 4/5 She has clearly rediscovered her muse, resulting in this outrageously enjoyable album. The Line of Best Fit 8/10 The result reads more like a follow-up to the personal Froot (2015) than it does the collaborative Love + Fear, and finds MARINA emboldening her trademark theatrical glam with sharper edges. Clash 8/10 A 10-track wonder that is a more mature and eclectic take on her gloriously femme and thundering electro-pop.
