Any player of the tournament predictions? I think Phil Foden would have a very good chance of winning this award or the young player equivalent if England go far. I would go for Harry Kane to win the golden boot.

Barella for Italy would be my bet. Suspect a lot depends on who wins, could see Ronaldo easily winning it or someone like Lukaku/KDB.

I remember they did a similar style article to that first link for the 2018 World Cup where they predicted Belgium to win which didn't turn out to be the case.

ESPN chose the best EURO Starting XI going into the tournament and it looks like this:

First Team:

GK | Manuel Neuer (Germany)

RB | Joao Cancelo (Portugal)

CB | Antonio Rudiger (Germany)

CB | Ruben Dias (Portugal)

LB | Andy Robertson (Scotland)

DMF | N'Golo Kante (France)

AMF | Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium)

AMF | Luka Modric (Croatia)

FW | Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)

FW | Robert Lewandowski (Poland)

FW | Kylian Mbappe (France)

Others Considered:

GK | Thibaut Courtois (Belgium), Rui Patricio (Portugal), Kasper Schmeichel (Denmark), Unai Simon (Spain), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Italy)

RB | Kyle Walker (England), Reece James (England), Kieran Trippier (England), Benjamin Pavard (France), Joshua Kimmich (Germany)

CB | Raphael Varane (France), Presnel Kimpembe (France), Matthijs de Ligt (Netherlands), Pau Torres (Spain), Virgil van Dijk (Netherlands)

LB | Lucas Hernandez (France), Raphael Guerreiro (Portugal), Luke Shaw (England), Ben Chilwell (England)

DMF | None.

AMF | Paul Pogba (France), Bruno Fernandes (Portugal), Toni Kroos (Germany), Bernando Silva (Portugal), Ilkay Gundogan (Germany), Phil Foden (England), Jack Grealish (England), Mason Mount (England)

FW | Harry Kane (England), Romelu Lukaku (Belgium), Antoine Griezmann (France), Thomas Mueller (Germany), Marcus Rashford (England), Raheem Sterling (England), Jadon Sancho (Germany), Kai Havertz (Germany), Joao Feliz (Portugal), Karim Benzema (France)

I'm going to put England to win   bearing in mind in two years time The Women's Euro, England are the hosts. :D
Wembley will be able to host matches at 50% capacity - around 45,000 - for the knockout stages of Euro 2020.
That’s great news, I watched some of the Copa match between Argentina and Chile there and the empty stadium was awful!

Well it's all kicking off in London. Scots fans arriving in the early morning packed pubs at 10am, got pissed and started on police and England fans. Shops and pubs are closing as Scots poured drinks over English fans.. Most pubs and off-licences are closing near Wembley as cops form a ring around the stadium to stop ticketless fans from storming gates and barriers and getting inside. Thousands of extra officers, according to Sky News, are being drafted in this afternoon from other forces. They're still arriving from Scotland despite thousands having no tickets yet heading to Wembley. Police say again: NO TICKET. YOU WON'T GET IN.

From The Mail.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... ai=9700213

Scotland fans took over the West End today as they massed in Leicester Square, showering any England supporters brave enough to go near them with beer.

Fans parted to allow the Three Lions fans walk through- then tossed beer over them as they hurried by and let of blue and white smoke flares chanting ‘ I’d hate to be English’.

They had been back in the pub at 10am today after they helped trash central London and left the capital's landmarks strewn with detritus having completely ignored pleas from Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Met Police to stay away.

Yeah it's pretty bonkers, but it was always going to happen. Some of the videos going round on Whatsapp are quite funny though :D

Imagine if the tide was turned and this was England fans in Hamden Park, Sturgeon would be going off her nut demanding independence

Lol The Mail reporting that - poor old England fans so hard done by 🤔
