11th. Marry The Night - 97 points




Welcome Buzzjack to Lady Gaga's least fave singles poll & after taking a break from the usual polls, the last round was a ranking round with 11 songs left in running & finishing with the lowest amount of points was Marry The Night, which gained just 97 points, the only song not to gain at least a 100 points & ranking just outside the top 10 at the 11th spot (the same as last time) & leaving just 2 singles left from the Born This Way album.

Really sad to see this go as 'Marry The Night; is a fantastic track that's near perfect mix of contemporary pop production that blends hard rock strings with crisp dance pop sounds, which brims haunting bells & towering Gaga vocals. This was wasted being left so late into the era as the 5th single & really should have been the 2nd following the title track & could have easily been a huge smash.

11th for 'Marry The Night' is so annoyingly ironic. The way it kept hanging around at #11 on iTunes and I was willing it to get slightly higher to get the all-important top 10 effect :lol: Then it eventually did reach top 10, but almost immediately dropped back down to 11 :drama:

Yeah Marry The Night isn’t great, but neither is Born This Way in my opinion.
