Norwich City have completed the signing of defender Ozan Kabak from FC Schalke on loan until the end of the season.
So… Chelsea have re-signed Lukaku in this window, United have brought Ronaldo back… is it about time that Klopp put in a call to Luis Suárez’s agents?
It's gonna be very interesting to see how Ronaldo rises up the Fantasy football statistics, he has been added to the game now! Bruno Fernandes is currently the most selected player and is in 55.7% of teams.
I wish Phil Jones would do the same

:w00t: Always forget his sitting on a big contract with no football being played!

Jones is the only outfield player at United to win the league title (well, up until CR7 re-joined). Put some respect on his name :P

Phil Jones is such s strange case, you can't blame him for sitting there on his massive contract. I feel with how the Premier League has gone, you're just going to get more cases of this unless clubs pay off the ridiculous contracts up front. It's not like he won't get some game time this season I suspect. Now someone bring up that Fergie quote where he says he "could be United's greatest every player"

That’s a scary thought tbh

How he has survived successive defensive culls i do not know. The shittest player I have ever had to watch in our shirt

Phil Jones is there because Man Utd consistently give out contracts of great length and high value (because they can afford to) which makes players incredibly difficult to get rid of, they get extended to retain a value which no one will meet. It's not just Jones, Lingard, Pereira, Rojo... all stayed well past their need but all earn(ed) far more than any club who might want them can afford.
Bit of a shame Dan James has signed for Leeds. I know he's never getting into a full-strength starting XI for us but he's very much a great squad player and the fact we sold him and didn't just loan him out is very disappointing. Didn't get a proper chance to develop into a better player.

Willian bought his contract at Arsenal out!

Agree. There’s at least half a dozen players I’d sell first. I liked Dan James so it is a shame to see him go. He will make a great addition to Leeds

Deadline Day Signings

  • Tottenham complete the signing of defender Emerson Royal from Barcelona.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal for Saul Niguez.

Ademola Lookman has completed his season-long loan move from RB Leipzig to Leicester City, who have an agreed option to buy.

Real Madrid have completed the signing of midfielder Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennais on a six-year deal.

Brighton have completed the signing of Abdallah Sima from Slavia Prague on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Swansea defender Connor Roberts has joined Premier League side Burnley.

Newcastle have signed 19-year-old Mexican striker Santiago Munoz. This isn't from the film "Goal" is it??

I'm happy Real Madrid signed Camavinga rather than Man Utd, that would have been a signing that would have 100% turned the tide (for when they get rid of Ole).

I don't even know who that is to be honest.

He's one of the most highly rated midfielders in the world under 21. Think Mbappe of 4 years ago.
