Up to #56 on Spotify today as well

Seven Nation Army is #106 is that also for the Euros?
the entire Bo Burnham album top 200 on Spotify today!

I assume so!

We had the Euros Launch Show on yesterday and there was a slap house version of it at one point

Polo g rapstar gone get confusing if goes acr could 3 new track album push rapstar out next week and rapstar come back week after does drivers license go back normal ratio

Lorde is up to #53 on Apple, not a bad start for her, hopefully it can at least be a 4th top 40 hit for her then (the fact she only has 3 previous top 40 hits is sad xx)

Polo G has 19/20 songs from his album in the Apple top 200 already (only the previously released single 'GNF (OKOKOK)' just outside at #206), 'RAPSTAR' is up 23 places to #16 and his next highest are 'Painting Pictures' at #58 and 'No Return' (feat. The Kid LAROI and Lil Durk) at #60. Migos have 11 songs in the top 200 so far, inevitably the highest is 'Having Our Way' (feat. Drake) at #32, followed by 'Avalanche' at #49 (was released the day before the album I believe) and the previously released single 'Straightenin' at #92.

Mimi Webb is off to a really strong start again as well at #61 - did this song have pre release TikTok hype again or does she actually have a big fanbase? Also a pretty promising debut (compared to previous singles at least) for RAYE at #173.

Apple Music:

27. Anne-Marie & Niall Horan - Our Song +7

waiting for that top 20 there

Oh my, I don't complain though about the ubiquity of slap house now as much as many other Buzzjackers - the focus on a heavy bassline is really something that started off in the early days of dance and house music in the 80s (like Paul Hardcastle - 19 for example) and I like that about it - slap house almost brings dance music back to its roots in a way.

A little outside the top 200 there are some more newies from Maroon 5 at 224, K-Trap at 253, Megan Thee Stallion at 258 and Ava Max at 304. The next newie after that is Jessie J at 461 which honestly is higher than I'd have expected for a new Jessie J single in 2021 lol ~

With so many concurrent album bombs (Polo and Migos obviously, plus the lingering Olivia who still has her entire album in the top 70) those lower 'other new releases' are all a little deceptively low even before accounting for ACR; RAYE for example would be as high as #91 just applying the three track rule.

Over in the US, Migos have both of the top 2 with 'Having Our Way' and 'Avalanche' but Polo G makes up most of the rest of the top 10 (all bar #3 which is still 'good 4 u' holding out against the tidal waves of album bombs, and #9 which is the highest straggler from last week's Baby/Durk album bomb). In all there are only 12 songs in the top 50 that are not from Baby/Durk, Polo G or Migos (and 5 of those 12 are Olivia Rodrigo).
