At least it wasn't five conceded against Liverpool for Norwich City. Norwich does anyone see them surviving relegation this season?

I don’t to be honest unless Burnley’s luck runs out!

Def think Palace are down without Hodgson unless they get rid of Viera early doors!

Yeh they could be saved if he continues to lose early doors but for my BJ predictions I just went with them in the bottom 3, why he got rid of Scott Dann and Gary Cahill il never know with the experience they bring(albeit Danns very injury prone)!

Adam Armstrong keeping his good goal scoring form from Blackburn up for Southampton today!

You do wonder what is Southampton's philosophy in regards to making progress up the league, what do you make of Rafa at Everton?

Yeh I worry about Southampton’s defence with Vestegaard gone seems a bit make shift, maybe they will struggle but they have a decent manager but he’s one of them ones that either loses 10 in a row then wins 10 in a row.

With regard to Rafa - I still love him and as a mone Liverpudlian Liverpool support don’t have the hatred of Everton until we face them on the pitch so fair play to both!

Aubameyang and Lacazette out ill and that’s all Arsenal will say….
No team has go on to win the Premier League after losing their first match since the 2012/13 season. Man City are going to have to break an 8 year old curse to do that now.

I thought most of the results yesterday spoke for themselves, pretty much what I expected everything to be with the exception of Watford vs Villa. Impressive win for Man Utd yesterday- hard to read too much in to it though as Leeds' midfield was bloody awful. Without Phillips in their team they've always been as much use as a chocolate fireguard. But still, it's impressive nethertheless.

The Spurs result didn't surprise me too much at all really, I thought Spurs might be able to spring a result today. City are way behind in pre-season, Spurs' fans were really up for it today and that 100% had an effect on City, they kept losing their shape. Still think City will win the title but Jesus wept, playing Ake/Mendy every week is not going to win them the league

Was screaming at Son to take on Ake the two times he was 1-1 with him!
Who'd have thought that £100m wouldn't buy you a win at Spurs.

Well it depends who they pay the 100m to. If the UEA pumps a few extra oil barrels this week maybe they can give Spurs 100m and stand a chance in the reverse fixture

Good win for West Ham. Newcastle have some decent players and that was not a foregone conclusion so credit where its due
Was a great game to watch similar to the one at the end of last season!

Totally. Imagine playing them 2 when you've got Stones & Zinchenko right there...

It was sooooooo good being back at the Amex earlier watching Brighton win with a very good performance.. Our first opening back to back wins in our history of being in top flight football :D

Great seeing Duffy back and scoring, especially from a corner.. We do need to do more with set pieces and scoring so hopefully we can keep this going!
