April 11, 20223 yr Author Tottenham defender Matt Doherty has been ruled out for the rest of the season following an injury he sustained in his side's victory against Aston Villa.
April 12, 20223 yr Author Love the narrative of Norwich and their great escape, Guess they need the clicks and likes though.
April 15, 20223 yr Burnley sacking Dyche is crazy. Pretty much confirmed which 3 teams are getting relegated now.
April 15, 20223 yr Something I never thought I would ever see. Good riddance!!! Burnley Are the worst team to play against in the Prem. I always hated going to see burnley visit OT because they just played a 0-0-0 formation and stand 11 men on the f***ing goal line. So excited for them to sink without a trace
April 15, 20223 yr Shocking, might be back in league one soon! I like Burnley as they were something different in the league. Not everyone can play the Pep way and it’s refreshing to see them play to their strengths and not change. There’s more than one way to play football after all. And also the fact they have one of the lowest wage bills in the top 2 divisions and stayed up ahead of other teams. Shows they are a well run club.
April 15, 20223 yr Burnley sacking Dyche is crazy. Pretty much confirmed which 3 teams are getting relegated now. Yeah this is it exactly. By doing this now Burnley have effectively waved the white flag and given up hope of surviving relegation. There's a very strong chance that they'll be a mass exodus at that club in the summer because I imagine that a lot of players liked Sean Dyche and now that he's gone they wont have any motivation to stay at Burnley once they're relegated which means it could be quite a few years at least until they come back to the Premier League.

Sounds like Big Sam is nailed. Think there's still a chance they survive relegation.
April 15, 20223 yr Actually I'm torn on Burnley. I really think they should be nowhere near relegation with their squad and they've massively regressed ever since that crazy year they qualified for Europe. Dyche is a legend no doubt but sometimes a club needs a new direction. Look at Palace where everyone thought Hodgson overachieved year after year then Vieria comes along and does better immediately.
April 15, 20223 yr Burnley's squad has definitely got weaker over the years and the improvements to it aren't good enough to match similar clubs. There are very few players in that squad that would be wanted by a Premier League team - Tarkowski, Pope, Cornet and then you're struggling. If they had someone lined up to immediately replace him it might make some sense, they were absolutely abysmal against Norwich last week and some new ideas wouldn't be the worst thing, but to not have anyone sticking the injured centre half and a coach who's had two spells in league 2 and been sacked from both within 3 months? If it's not temporary for just tomorrow's game then getting strong Terry Connor at Wolves vibes here. If Burnley go down I think they may well be down for a while. The owners seem clueless and it's not a squad to generate revenue like others who've gone down recently have been.
April 16, 20223 yr What a perfect day for us. Spurs doing a Spurs and Arsenal have turned into Watford. 0 points on Tuesday but 15 from the other 5 games and we've more than half a chance.
April 16, 20223 yr Author Brighton played both North London teams away one after the other and put them both in their place. Good on you Brighton!
April 16, 20223 yr Author Can't believe we got ourselves into such a mess after going 2 up. But absolutely no surprise that Ronaldo dug us out of a hole yet again.
April 16, 20223 yr Author There have been 11 instances of a team having 20+ shots but failing to score in a Premier League match this season, with three of those being for Arsenal. The Gunners had 23 attempts against Southampton today
April 16, 20223 yr Author Watford have now lost 10 consecutive top-flight home games. They're only the third side to reach the unwanted milestone - after Birmingham in 1986 and Sunderland in 2005.
April 18, 20223 yr Social medis is awash with Haaland going to City in the summer, 500k p/w (and the rest of it off the books..). I think Darwin Nunez is just as good personally, although Haaland far more marketable. Not sure how Pep will use him though, although means one less body to flood the midfield.
April 19, 20223 yr City have a very 50/50 record with strikers so we'll see how he adapts. Could be the next Timo Werner.
