driving license out is that daamage the chaange get best seller 2021 do still count seller. Even not chaart eligible I bet good 4 u end up with it

I believe the End Of Year bestsellers list does not acknowledge ACR or the 3 track rule. It's possible to make the list without EVER charting, which I believe several Ed Sheeran songs would have done had rules been in place for all of 2017, and perhaps some of Olivia's tracks have the chance to do so as well.

I mean it's exactly what it is supposed to be, you just have to parse your own context for how you compare sales across different years, which has always been true to an extent with cross-year sellers. If anything it's ACR and our natural curious nature towards fresh top sellers which distorts the reality of what is most popular across a span of a year, but the year end paints an increasingly accurate picture of the most listened-to songs of the year, however January skewed that picture may be.

from the OCC FB page,

Olivia is back to #1 in albums, with Nick Cave at #2 and Griff at #4

That "problem" existed already when digital downloads were included. Big hits with long tails benefitted more than seasonal songs.

This. Obviously streaming has inflated older sales more but it isn’t like the physical error where singles would suddenly stop being produced/distributed/sold.

Curious to see how far Good 4 U can go at the top. Highly likely Ed will knock it off but nothing ever seems certain these days.

Really happy for Maneskin, though I am admittedly not keen on their cover at all. Don’t see what is special about it personally. Any success for Eurovision linked act is great to see nonetheless

I thought Griff would be number 2.

do OneRepublic have physicals? their chart placement seems very odd otherwise, they're not top 200 on Amazon, Apple or Spotify. but them having enough fans willing to buy physicals of a single also seems odd.

great to see Becky Hill firmly inside the top 40 anyhow.

Happy for Griff and Becky!! Really disappointing start for Mabel, can only hope it continues to grow in popularity really

Surprised to see One Republic that high, but good for them, it's a decent song.

The OCC have published an article and it's apparently got something to do with the England vs Scotland match?

There's no physical as far as I can see!

That did seem odd to me ^_^ I wasn't even aware they had a new single.

Does anyone know where Deja vu would be if it wasn’t starred out? Favourite crime is at #22 but Deja vu can’t be far off this while being on acr, any chance it could still overtake it by Friday?
