Derby County's administrators Quantuma have been asked for an "urgent" update by the English Football League, with a proof of funding deadline looming.

Quantuma were given until the start of March to show how the Rams would be funded for the rest of the season, after a four-week extension was given.

However, the EFL say that evidence has still not been provided, with no news on a preferred bidder for the club.

A vital point salvaged by Forest, which may make in big difference in a very tight race for a playoff place.
The battle for the play offs looks interesting. It would be nice if Blackburn got promoted as it's been 10 years since they were last in the Premier League.

The owners of Stoke City have eased the Championship club's finances by reducing debts by £160m.

Owners, bet365 Group, have converted £40m of loans into equity in the club's holding company, and waived £120m of shareholder loans.

"This greatly strengthens the club's balance sheet and also provides more long-term stability for the club," said joint chairman John Coates.

Stoke are 15th in the Championship, 12 points adrift of the play-offs.

Swansea City goalkeeping coach Dean Thornton has been fined £3,000 and banned from involvement at two games following a tempestuous conclusion to their loss to Fulham on 8 March.

The Football Association (FA) says Thornton admitted to "abusive, insulting and improper" behaviour in or around the changing room area.

Swansea were earlier fined £5,000 over players' reaction to Ryan Manning's red card for fouling Harry Wilson.

Barnsley were relegated to League One following defeat by promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town, who themselves sealed a Championship play-off spot.
It’s felt like a very poor season overall for Bristol City, my local club, who have failed to get successive wins with their current manager. I feared we would be in the mix for relegation this year but it looks like we escaped that fate for now. Big rebuilding needed for the Summer there.
How many goals does Mitro need to beat Guy Whitinghams record then?
