Anne Marie has had a fair few hits to be fair. No different to a downturn LM had in 2019.

 

It was actually originally stand alone Anne Marie song, they'd been discussing and sending songs for 2/3 years and she decided that Kiss My would sound great with them on doing the 'chanty' sections.

 

Personally I think it's great that they've finally worked with a female solo singer and I think it works really well!

 

A collab has been in the making for ages, it was constantly teased and talked about...

see the more i listen to the song i feel like not only do little mix absolutely eat Anne-Marie, her parts are actually quite boring.

 

Like the first chorus is sung by Anne-Marie and then the second is Perrie, the difference in energy and just how much life there is in their voices compared, they know how to make their voices interesting, but meh just my thoughts.

 

i still enjoy the song and i'm glad out of all the songs on the album it was Kiss My that was the collab, although i feel like x2 would've worked as that is a little mix song through and through lol

This is a bop! Another top 10 in the future for Anne-Marie and Little Mix is on the cards. I love how well Little Mix have been doing despite Jesy's departure. Makes me hopeful they'll smash for many more years.

Probably unrelated topic..... To put these girls' achievements in context, I have just recently watched the entire 2011 series of the xfactor on youtube - from bootcamp results to judges houses, live shows, results shows and the grand finale. I know - I've got too much time in my hands!

Nobody thought they would go far. They were a girl group, so should be evicted in the first few weeks. Gosh the surprise in their faces each time they got through, week after week! Even when the criticisms from some of the judges started becoming unfair. Perrie's reaction when they tried to make her the lead singer - sweet.

They were incredibly versatile, and worked as a proper unit from day 1. There were other amazing talents (Misha B, Craig, Marcus), but something about Little Mix just stood out. Their win was very well-deserved! I think that whatever they choose to do for their 10th should recognise Tulisa. The way she hit that table time after time!

10 years down the line, they're still winning! Amazing!

 

I hope they continue working as Little Mix alongside their individual interests; even if it means one or two singles per year.

Checked again, #61 in Apple Music. They just changed it to the single cover.

Still at #26 on AM, however Dave is starting to fall so it should climb soon. Ed is already back at #1
