July 11, 20214 yr I actually like this one more than Butter! Almost everything can be better than Butter :drama: Edited July 11, 20214 yr by Jason
July 11, 20214 yr I love this dave/Stormzy collab, gets better with every listen plus very catchy hook to it!
July 11, 20214 yr This new Dave track is just disappointing tbh. Not a fan on first couple of listens. Maybe a grower but we'll see. Edited July 11, 20214 yr by Dot Branning
July 11, 20214 yr how come BTS are #5? on iTunes they did 0.6 relative to Ed on day 1 and 0.3 on day 2, sure that's not even 3K on Youtube they're new at #3 with average views, nothing crazy, 600K, thats not even 1K sales and the song has done poorly on streams everywhere
July 11, 20214 yr 3 David Baddiel, Frank Skinner & The Lightning Seeds - Three Lions I thought this would be at least at no. 2. Edited July 11, 20214 yr by IdentFan101
July 11, 20214 yr Dave & Stormzy are heading for the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart. The British rappers’ first ever collaboration Clash, taken from Dave’s upcoming album We’re All Alone In This Together, goes in at Number 4 on today (July 11)’s Official Chart: First Look. Should Clash’s momentum continue, it will mark Dave’s eighth UK Top 10 single and Stormzy’s 12th. On course for a third week at Number 1 is Ed Sheeran with Bad Habits, who is currently over 10,000 units ahead of the pack with the most streams and paid-for sales of the weekend. But should football come home for the first time in 55 years, then his lead could be all for naught. Speaking of Ed, he co-wrote the new single from Korean boyband BTS called Permission To Dance, which after 48 hours of sales and streams enters the Official Chart: First Look at Number 5. The track could mark J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga and V’s fourth UK Top 10 hit following Dynamite, Life Goes On and Butter. A third new release could also impact this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 10; Australian rising star The Kid Laroi has teamed up with Canadian hitmaker Justin Bieber for Stay at Number 7, the lead track from the former’s upcoming debut album F*CK LOVE (OVER YOU). Finally, just outside the First Look Top 20 at Number 21 is Billie Eilish with her new single NDA. As football fans gear up for England’s EURO 2020 final against Italy tonight (July 11), football anthems old and new from Baddiel & Skinner and The Lightning Seeds, Atomic Kitten and Neil Diamond are heading for chart success, as revealed on today's Official Chart: First Look. 1996 classic Three Lions leads the way, going in at Number 3 after the first two days of the sales week. The former Number 1 is the fourth most downloaded song of the week so far and the second-most streamed, clocking up 2.17 million plays so far. The Official Chart: First Look airs Sundays on BBC Radio 1 between 6pm – 7pm, offering a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports. Atomic Kitten’s reworking of their 2011 chart topper Whole Again titled Southgate You’re The One (Football’s Coming Home Again) could give them their first Top 40 single in 16 years. After debuting at Number 86 last week based on three days of sales, the song is at Number 10 today following promotion that included performances on Peter Crouch’s Year-Late Euros: Live and Loose Women. An artist who has waited even longer for a Top 40 return is Neil Diamond. His legendary sing-a-long staple Sweet Caroline could mark his first Top 40 hit since Morning Has Broken topped out at Number 36 in November 1992. Peaking at Number 8 back in March 1971, Sweet Caroline is currently at Number 13 and may well claim a new best placement if football does well and truly come home. Source: OCC
July 11, 20214 yr I really want to see good 4 u increase this week so it can go back to 0 weeks of decline and avoid acr. Not tired of it yet 😂
July 11, 20214 yr Ironic that Three Lions is further behind on downloads than streaming when the downloads helped it to #1 last time. Still wondering if a "winners remix" or such like is in the pipeline for potential release after tonight. That would certainly help give them a download boost.
July 11, 20214 yr Ahhhh I knew I shouldn’t of doubted myself. BTS’s YouTube views would have been big, downloads were big with the Instrumental and original... Plus iTunes dominates first look there’s massive streaming data missing. I think they’ll struggle to stay top 10 this time around.
