He also done a few sold out nights at the Jazz Cafe - there doesn’t seem to be much hype for the album :nocheer: I’m guessing it will fall hard next week as they are doing personalised signed copies at Banquet Records and he has 7 shows with indie stores too to boost sales this week.

Marina has had this with both Bubblegum Bitch and Hermit The Frog blowing up on TikTok, yet nothing for the actual singles this era. Really hope Tom’s album manages to hold on to top 10, found the singles have all been top quality this time round.
July 13, 20215 yr For me it seems like hearing a song on TikTok and then buying/listening to it outside of that is like the experience of hearing a song on a film or TV show soundtrack. You sometimes get invested in the song because you hear it over and over in a context that reminds you of the connected visual experience, but that’s often as far as it goes and most people don’t usually go seeking out other songs from the artists because they don’t have the same emotional connection.
