shocked at Some Might Say leaving already! :/ thought we have more Britpop fans in here

I tried!

I like it but couldn’t find room for it at the time. In retrospect I wish I’d voted for it over something else I did vote for

Dreamer is a good dance track, Some Might Say is not bad at best, hugely over-rated - it wouldn;t make my top 20 Gallagher tracks, never mind top 10 Oasis. Not a patch on Wonderwall, t'other pending chart-topper, Whatever, Live Forever and many album tracks. Mr Vain (sigh) is NOT in any way the best chart-topper of 1993, novelty dance cheese, sorry!

Think Twice, and I'm going to shock everyone here who may have got the impression I thought she was one of the Holy Trinity of Big-voiced wailing banshees of the 90's, I bought on CD at the time, not even bargain bin. But did I vote for it? All will be revealed....

poor Some Might Say :/ think it's better than anything Oasis released post 1995 :)

not a fan of Mr Vain, agree it's cheesy europop

I also quite like Think Twice, I really liked how slowly it creeped up the charts, but cannot recall if I voted for it or not :D

Some Might Say  so satisfying that their chart peaks kept ascending right up until getting that #1: 31-11-10-7-3-1 *.*

George’s most popular No 1 of the decade

Wait did I really give Fastlove points? It's a fine song but I must have been super delirious and not reading it correctly if so.
'You Don’t Know Me' is such a tune! Looks like my 12 points were the lowest it got so it has really big fans on here :o

When anyone asks a question I always go back and look at my spreadsheet and messages. Until now my spreadsheet has been accurate but not this time! No you didn't so "Fastlove" drops to 34- I will post the accurate version when we get to No 21. The good news is that the song you gave it too is still to come! Apologies.

Blue (Da Ba Dee) was one of my earliest musical memories, I never quite clicked the song with the title until I got much older purely cos I never knew what he was saying as a child! I still love listening to it though, infectious as hell.

I have so much love for both Oasis and Britpop as a whole and love Some Might Say (hence it getting points from me). It's easily better than their other two chart toppers which have finished lower in the ranking but I think pretty much all of my absolute favourite tracks by them are ones that never reached #1.

Oasis had 4 chart toppers in the 90s, so one to come still.

Yeah the best of the four (imo) is still to come, I just meant that Some Might Say was better than the two that have already been eliminated, probably didn't make myself clear lmao.

Aha! Yes I totally agree with you :D
