Oh they must have stopped doing that then since there is no black version on there anymore only the marble one. I've just looked at the HMV one, it's not as nice as the official one so no thanks lol!

Are you sure you didn't get mixed up with the Lexicon vinyl as that is still on there and that is a black vinyl.

Im positive the black vinyl was there, and it was the new album,

i remember it was 27 pounds, slightly cheaper than the turquoise one that was 30 pounds

I see Rough Tide still have the black one too

Billie sold about 500/600 copies in signed bundles today and reduced her CD on amazon (she jumped back to 1 on there just now) and HMV. I think she'll be ahead of Olivia for sure but it might be close with Will!

oh I didn't realise the first cassette bundle was 300 bundles (with 5 items):

300 signed CD+4 cassette bundles have just been sold out on her uk store in 10 minutes.

That's 1500 copies more for her UK sales. Queen!

- PJ

+ 100x4 of the other ones

So she did about 2k in signed bundles today.

Will just's reduced on Amazon to £5.99!

This is going to be a nail biter.

I love when the labels and artists get competitive, I don't even think they even care about making a profit, they want a No.1!

In a way I'd quite love for this to happen just to witness the meltdowns from a certain couple of people.

I hope it happens simply to see how long a song can last in these ACR times!

Well Billie is giving cheap bundles with cassettes and cds

The vinyls are still 40 pounds so sure they have still huge profits

I am surprised to see them pushing so hard for Billie to get the second week at #1 with these UK-specific bundles. Will Young looking like he should be safe to at least continue his run of top 2 albums either way anyway.
Billie has the no 1 album in the bag I think. Even without the 2,000 she sold today it was going to be incredibly close with Will, but these extra sales will easily give her the no 1 spot.

I agree tbh, Billie has the streaming sales Will doesn't have and he has lost the physical sales advantage when you compare her 5 sales for £20 offer shifting 2k for her alongside the 3 times the amount of physicals to purchase.

I'm half expecting Will to end up at #3, behind Billie & Olivia.

Still think 3-40 will be better than 1-40 (and I think I'm being very optimistic in thinking Will will still be top 40 next week)

I don't think it hugely matters as much in this day and age when a 1-40esque fall is fairly commonplace and isn't seen as shocking.

This!

Exactly, even if he falls 1-OUT OF THE TOP 200, that's fine

just reflects the albums charts not reflecting properly what albums people are buying

when next week Will will have 0 sales but Becky Hill/Mabel and all those Greatest Hits will have 3K sales that come only from playlists

^ But everyone knows that the album chart no longer reflects what people are buying, it reflects what people are listening to - although I guess it doesn't even reflect that particularly accurately. The album chart has been rendered pretty meaningless and nothing more than a vague indicator of listening habits, and unless the streaming platforms sort their shit out and are able to report on whole album plays distinctly from passive plays of songs from albums/playlists, I can't really see things changing.

Exactly what you've just said... the charts are pretty meaningless now as it doesn't reflect what people are listening to out of choice with playlists having such a huge impact on the charts. It's almost radio play.

I don't expect Will will fall that badly in week 2. He's been promoting throughout the week (and is still trending on Twitter after his Breakfast appearance today). Plus he's been made Radio 2's Album of the Week for this week coming oddly.

That's so weird, maybe he would have been better pushing it back a week to tie in with that for higher first week sales... although if it stops the drop being too drastic that is also good.

There's no way he would've beaten The Killers (and maybe even Kanye West) next week.

That makes it even weirder that his album is album of the week next week and not The Killers!?!?!?

I guess some weeks Radio 2 have more than one favourite

I didn't even know The Killers had an album out. I don't think Radio 2 are playing anything from it?
