August 13, 20215 yr 20 | 20 | 3rd week Anne-Marie and Little Mix Kiss My (Uh Oh) 3rd single from Therapy Released: 23rd July 2021 Label: Major Tom's / Asylum Records Chart Statistics NE (05/08/2021) | 17-20-20 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 02 Sales 27 Audio Streaming 09 Video Streaming Video 7_Su3bBGXzw Biography Anne-Marie Anne-Marie’s bold, booming voice has resonated around the world, both as a consummate dance-music collaborator and a brassy pop powerhouse. Born Anne-Marie Nicholson in Essex in 1991, the singer/songwriter never thought she’d make it far beyond her small village, but she was already making waves in London as a child, performing in prestigious West End theatre productions and becoming a karate world champion. Such ambitions undoubtedly helped prepare her for major festival stages—which she’d soon dominate as a rising vocalist in the electronic music world. After being discovered by Elton John’s management company, Rocket Music, in 2013, Anne-Marie lent her skyscraping vocals to tracks by dubstep/DJ supergroup Magnetic Man, garage duo Gorgon City and drum ‘n’ bass hitmakers Rudimental, who invited her to guest on their 2015 album We the Generation and join their extensive world tour. Going forward, she’s been a go-to vocalist and songwriter, pairing up with artists like Snakehips, James Arthur, Nick Jonas, David Guetta and Lauv. But her biggest breakthrough came in 2016 with Clean Bandit, whose single “Rockabye” with dancehall superstar Sean Paul became a multi-platinum global smash, largely thanks to Anne-Marie’s honeyed croons and playful lyrics, which offer an empowering twist on single motherhood. Since releasing her 2018 debut album, Speak Your Mind, the singer has been building up an enviable catalogue of self-love odes (“Perfect to Me”), sassy club bangers (Marshmello collab “FRIENDS”), nostalgic pop love songs (“2002”, co-written with Ed Sheeran) and throbbing coming-of-age anthems (the Doja Cat-featuring “To Be Young”). Even as a solo star, she continues to have no qualms about sharing the spotlight. “I just think collaborations are beautiful,” she told Apple Music. “I don’t think collaborations will ever stop with me.” - Apple Music Little Mix As the first group to win The X Factor, Little Mix set a high standard from their formation in 2011. In the years since, the quartet have exceeded any expectations placed on them, performing spirited pop that unapologetically shows off its members’ personalities and effortlessly fit in with the 2010s’ constantly shifting pop trends. Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall had all auditioned as solo singers when trying out for The X Factor but were put together early on in the show’s run, and their charisma and harmonies won over viewers. Little Mix’s first single from their 2012 debut album, “Wings”, was an ideal opening statement for them, its themes of empowerment boosted by a stomping beat and a sing-along-worthy chorus. Since then, they have channelled confident girl groups like the Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child as well as forward-thinking singers like Janet Jackson and Rihanna, with singles like the sparkling “Black Magic”, the defiant “Shout Out to My Ex” and 2017’s chaotic Stormzy collab “Power” combining no-nonsense lyrics with immediate beats. In 2020, they cemented their legacy both on record and with Little Mix: The Search, a reality show tasked with putting together a next-generation girl band—demonstrating that their goal since they were put together in the early 2010s has been lifting up women all over the world through energetic, danceable pop. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Anne-Marie 2015 67 Rumour Mill (Rudimental feat. The chart-dominating track from 2019 was inspired by the Australian singer/songwriter’s experience as a full-time busker. Just a year prior, Watson (born in Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne) quit her retail job, packed up her Casio keyboard and loop pedal, and headed north to the surfer town of Byron Bay, where she found her voice playing the streets several hours a day. After catching the eye of a local music lawyer, Tones And I scored a deal with Sony-affiliated Bad Batch Records and released her 2019 debut single, “Johnny Run Away,” a groovy electro-pop gem dedicated to her best friend. It was a runaway success in Australia, and “Dance Monkey,” released two months later, pushed her into the international spotlight. Both songs appear on her debut EP, The Kids Are Coming, which shines with Tones And I’s potent mix of poignant tales and positive vibes. But she’s since admitted it’s not her most honest work: “I put fake names under all these songs,” she admitted to Apple Music. “I didn’t show people the real side of me.” So, she returned in 2020 with singles “Bad Child” and “Ur So F**kInG cOoL,” both of which let her distinctive voice power through throbbing beats, rumbling bass, and all her deepest insecurities. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2019 01 Dance Monkey -1- MILLIONAIRE 2020 99 Never Seen The Rain -2- 2021 16 Fly Away -1- 1 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 3 x Top 100 Social Media Tones and I http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
August 13, 20215 yr Little Mix are on a roll so dont know why they agreed to this song. Anne Marie is much more used to sub standard stuff so no surprise there!
August 13, 20215 yr This has bombed so far, but I think it still has a chance of being saved. No surprise. It's a dud.
August 13, 20215 yr I really thought 'Kiss My (Uh Oh)' would be a big hit but I guess something isn't clicking with it! Little Mix have had a lot of tracks out recently so perhaps the public haven't been too interested in a new track from either artist!
August 13, 20215 yr 18 | | 1st week KSI and Lil Wayne Lose Non-album single Released: 6th August 2021 Label: Beerus Chart Statistics NE (19/08/2021) | 18 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Audio Streaming TBA Video Streaming Video r5inVONkOKQ Biography KSI British rapper KSI made as much of a name for himself with his online videos and boxing as he did with his music, but the multi-faceted entertainer wore many hats as he built his empire of one. He moved from satirical songs in his earliest days into more nuanced songwriting and production on his breakthrough 2015 single "Lamborghini," refining his sound even more on subsequent projects like the venomous 2018 EP Disstracktions. Born Olajide Olatunji, KSI was known as KSIOlajideBT in 2008 when he became a regular video game commentator, uploading his videos to the web, most of them focused on the FIFA series. It was a footballer who inspired him to try his hand at rap as Emile Heskey was the topic of "Heskey Time," a satirical rap that kicked off a series of football-mocking songs, including 2012's "Sweaty Goals" with Randolph. In 2013 he joined rapper Sway on his single "No Sleep," and in 2014 he appeared on producer Droideka's track "Get Hyper." In 2015 he dropped his own track, "Lamborghini" featuring P-Money, along with "Keep Up," which was also the title cut for 2016's debut KSI EP. His book KSI: I Am a Bellend appeared that same year and was released under the title KSI: I Am a Tool in the United States. He was briefly signed to Island Records but cut ties with the label after the release of 2016 EP Jump Around. The next several years found KSI staying busy with content creating, boxing, and a growing music career, working independently to trickle out singles like 2017's "Creature" and projects like the 2018 EP Disstracktions. He became more involved in boxing, escalating beefs with other online video creators into full-on white-collar boxing matches. Particularly spectacular was his dispute with American Internet personality and occasional music-maker Logan Paul. In 2019, KSI signed a deal with RBC Records, immediately issuing his first single "Down Like That" on November 7 of that year. The song featured cameo appearances from Rick Ross, S-X, and Lil Baby and peaked at number ten on the U.K. Singles Chart. He followed this success with second single, "Wake Up Call," featuring Trippie Redd, in January of 2020. His debut full-length, Dissimulation, arrived in May of that year. Featuring collaborators from Jeremih to Offset, the album demonstrated the musician's skill on the mike, as well as his proficiency in genres from trap to Afro-swing. - Apple Music Lil Wayne When Lil Wayne debuted as a 12-year-old kid on the B.G.’z 1995 album True Story, it wasn’t exactly clear that he’d become one of the best rappers of his generation. It’s not just that he’s clever or funny—it’s the way his style manages to balance classic, boast-driven rap with the kind of wild metaphors and constellatory thinking often left to poets. In other words, Wayne didn’t just get high, he ate stars; he didn’t just devour rappers, he told you—in gross, gastrointestinal detail—how they felt going down, stretching the conventional vocabulary of rap to its limits. A native of New Orleans (“That’s why I holler ‘Hollygrove’ on each and every song,” he raps on Tha Carter II’s “Fly In”), Wayne (born Dwayne Carter in 1982) started writing rhymes at eight or nine, attracting the attention of Cash Money Records cofounder Bryan “Baby” Williams by freestyling relentlessly into Williams’ voicemail. (As recently as 2015, Wayne still knew the number by heart.) After joining the short-lived but influential Hot Boys with fellow Cash Money rappers Juvenile B.G., and Turk, Wayne launched an instantaneously successful solo career, exploring his ever-evolving lyricism while moving further into the mainstream, turning out a dizzying string of albums and mixtapes in the 2000s that were as radical as they were popular, his Tha Carter series most notable among them. In 2005, he managed to find time to start Young Money Entertainment, signing Nicki Minaj and Drake before most people knew their names. Beset by legal troubles (including a one-year sentence at Rikers Island), health issues (including an epilepsy diagnosis) and disagreements with his label, Wayne had a rough start to the 2010s but barely slowed down, releasing a steady stream of albums and mixtapes—including full-length collaborations with T-Pain and 2 Chainz—that continued to mine his seemingly endless imagination. Even if he made good on his periodic threats to retire (he called 2018’s Tha Carter V his last studio album), the fallout from his impact is everywhere, from Young Thug to Migos to Tyler, the Creator and Chance the Rapper—anyone who zigs when the rest zag. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History KSI 2015 30 Lamborghini (feat. August 13, 20215 yr I still think Kiss My can push for top 10 or close to it, it's top 10 on Apple and still climbing to new peaks on Spotify, it's far too early to write it off I think (particularly with an ACR clearout coming). Definitely expected a higher debut for Lose, shame as I think it's better than most KSI tracks!
August 13, 20215 yr Dare I say that neither of the vocallists on this track sound at all like KSI? Edit: Didn't wait until the bridge, it appears that both of the first 'two' vocallists were actually Lil Wayne :drama:
