Caroline Polachek on a number one album… We love to see it

So glad this managed to reach #1. I was pretty confident it would despite her poor record with her previous albums.

 

The new deluxe tracks are all decent but none are anywhere near my favourites on the album.

I think 'Sorry if I Hurt You' has taken it's place as my favourite track from the project.

Whyyyy was 'Constant Repeat' not a single. That's the best song on here by a considerable margin.

 

The album overall was a lot better than I expected based on the singles! Really liking 'Move Me', 'Every Rule' and 'Twice' as well and the title track was also good.

 

'Used To Know Me' is alright but it feels very unnecessary, we need to ban 'Show Me Love' being used as a sample as it's really been done to death.

 

I can see why 'Yuck' has been popular with others but that was my least favourite personally, found it pretty annoying. But Charli having only one song that annoys me on an album is still good going as I used to think that about like half of her output.

I enjoy this song, but I don't feel the need to go back to it much as it's fairly run of the mill/heard it a thousand times before over the last few years.

Have listened to the deluxe tracks as well now, 'Sorry If I Hurt You' is my fave of those I think, not quite up there with my faves from the main album but I wasn't expecting that from bonus tracks. Enjoying 'How Can I Not Know What I Need Right Now' as well and 'Selfish Girl' is also decent.

 

(the less said about that last one the better but 3/4 is pretty good x)

Off topic however I cannot make the London date in May which I am gutted about, work commitments. I bought on see tickets and can share them with someone who has a see tickets account however not sure where to sell these days. They cost 72 but will take 50 for both. Anyone done this before with see tickets?
