I wonder how many people are turning up to the signings today? Hopefully a fair few.

With an album packed with so many gems, why was "Take Me For A Ride" chosen as the lead single. It's not bad or anything, but there are much better choices, My choice would have been "Wasted Tears", then keep "The Slightest Touch" as single #2 & hopefully "Living In A Lie" gets chosen at some point.

In Friday predictions someone has said that Manics are in the lead by 3.5k... Really hope they shift a few k with all these signings they are doing!

I've only had the chance to listen to the album once so far, I'll have to listen more today! Even though I've only heard them once, I actually have the choruses of Hundred Years of Winter and Love & Trouble in my head!

 

I have however listened to the Initial Talk remix of Wasted Tears a few times already, I'm obsessed with it :wub: I'll end up being too used to that version rather than the main album version!!

Is it just me or does the acoustic for To The Beat Of My Heart sound almost identical to the original?

Can’t imagine it would be more than a few hundred per signing. So maybe 1k copies over the 6 signings? Maybe I’m grossly under or over estimating!

I’ve just ordered myself the rainbow and deluxe editions from HMV, plus ordered my Aunt a copy. Also ordered the standard standard edition from Amazon. So that’s 4 more copies. Just gotta order for my Mum and Sisters now. Which will take my total up to 7.

An unfortunate thing about Lisa's CD is that it has the wrong remix included. It's supposed to be the Wasted Tears Initial Talk Club Mix, but the disc has the Initial Talk Remix Edit on it instead - which already features on the 2CD Deluxe and is available to download/stream. So that's a shame... I was looking forward to hearing that full length remix! Hopefully the mistake is brought to their attention and they eventually release it.

Hopefully they get snapped up as the week progresses.

Yes, Take Me For Ride is good, but Wasted Tears is amazing and should’ve been the lead.

 

Is the album on vinyl? Went to HMV to get one but no trace :(
