Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.

If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder:

SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios:

100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)

600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc)

ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios:

200 premium streams = 1 sale

1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale

Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR.

The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you.

Update came through later than usual, obviously we already know what songs went to ACR from the mids but enjoy anyway x

Would be good for Doja and Olivia to go to ACR next week to allow their two newer singles to chart!

Also I'm guessing Ed Sheeran is gonna break over 9 weeks at #1 as he's not due to go to ACR yet now! Poor Stay is gonna rack up so many weeks at #2  Also P!nk still going? I swear that's been out several months and not made much of a splash!

Good to see Traitor on DCL-2, even if it had been pushed as a single, it would have been unlikely to improve on its #5 peak.

I guess if Ain't Shit ended the week outside Doja's top 3, it would stay on 8 weeks and get a reprieve from ACR, so could randomly return at some point (probably a long way below the Top 40 if that happened).

Yeah what’s the rules regarding Ain’t Sh!t?

If it drops out does it get reset to no weeks of decline?

I think you’re right - you have to have 9 weeks properly charting to go to ACR but once you’re 9 weeks plus on the chart you can go to ACR even if starred out.

Do you think that would mean if and when Ain’t Sh*t re-charted it would automatically be given 0 weeks of decline? Or would its status be based on whether it declined when starred out? All quite baffling.

It'll still reach DCL-3 even though it's starred out! (drivers license went back to ACR while starred out after getting an album boost reset)

I think it would depend on the weeks of decline up to its 9th week.

For example, if it declined this week but was starred out as Doja's 4th track, then declined again next week but returned as her 3rd track, it would then be on week 9 in the charts and DCL-3 (as it would have declined for at least the last 3 weeks) so would go to ACR the week after. I think.

drivers license was a bit different as it was already on 9+ weeks before it returned.

Yeah the rule is that a song goes to ACR if it's on 9+ weeks in the chart and on DCL-3 - if it's starred out this week then it will still go to DCL-3 (assuming it is declining) but it'll also still only have 8 weeks on the chart so as I understand it it would still be able to re-enter with at least one more week guaranteed on SCR even if it is still declining.

I can't find any recent examples of a similar situation so we'll have to wait and see I guess :magic:
The only similar example I can recall, albeit from early 2018, is Pray For Me which went 15-13-11-12-14-17-21-23-x-32 before going to ACR. It was starred out on what would have been its 9th week (as The Weeknd had 3 new songs on an EP) so survived ACR (assuming its 17-21 drop would have seen it on DCL-1), then returned at #32 the following week but immediately hit ACR as that was its 9th chart week and it had declined in sales for the 3 weeks it moved 21-23-x-32.
