September 15, 20214 yr Could it even be no.1 again next week. Think BTS week after though. Bad Habits? Nah no chance lol, not on ACR. Shivers currently seems to be following the trend of Bad Habits so should peak in weeks 2 - 4 anyway. Will be an interesting chart battle to see if BTS can overcome Sheeran though!
September 15, 20214 yr Unbelievable that dire Drake trake track with the Right Said Fred sample actually became a US #1! This is America, I would totally believe it of them.
September 16, 20214 yr Prediction - Manics and Steps both fall behind Drake but both sell exactly the same amount of copies and both become officially number 2s.....yet again.
September 16, 20214 yr Wow at Cold Heart being within 1k of #2! The missing data probably won’t be its friend though.

September 16, 20214 yr Correct me if I'm wrong, but their funding system hasn't been in place in the UK at all.
September 16, 20214 yr It definitely is, just not to the same extent as the US chart @1437548591820726272

September 16, 20214 yr Steps are 300 copies behind Manic Street Preachers today according to Popjustice. Edited September 16, 20214 yr by iain
September 16, 20214 yr Steps have all put on stories they are 300 behind and asking people to down so they must be!! As if they are this close they need to something BIG today!!
September 16, 20214 yr I want Steps to win but I don’t want them to go 1-20-Out Although to be honest I can see Manics falling a lot harder
September 16, 20214 yr I want Steps to win but I don’t want them to go 1-20-Out Although to be honest I can see Manics falling a lot harder Steps' last 2 studio albums since 2017 each had 4 and 3 weeks top 20 (6 and 4 weeks top 40) and a few more top 200, so they should at least hang around for a few weeks before dropping out. And the publicity of them grabbing another number 1 album this deep into their career, and winning the chart battle rematch with the Manics might keep them from dropping too much in week 2. September 16, 20214 yr Omg I can't bear this!! It's truly horrendous! It's ridiculous how invested in this I am, but I will be glad when tomorrow is finished either way!
September 16, 20214 yr I think W2S is better that GWG which is the highest charting in the UK. Both are abysmal. I agree with another comment that mentioned Champagne Poetry, that's the only decent thing i've heard from the album although tbf i've not listened to it in full yet after hearing Way 2 Sexy and Girls Want Girls. Hopefully the quick drop off in his Spotify figures, even if from big heights, suggests enough other people listened to it on first release and thought wtf is this. He might actually have to put out something with a half decent lead single next time or flop.
September 16, 20214 yr Knowing how much BTS love to release endless remixes for their core fanbase to gobble up and this album campaign seems to have been structured to keep Ed at #1 for as consecutively long as possible, I wonder if they both have several remixes/acoustic versions etc... in the can ready for midweek release if the figures are close between them at the start of the week.

I mean it might be that BTS don't want to anger Ed too much, after all he does write for them. Edited September 16, 20214 yr by chartfridays
