thats great news, he's really one of the slowest

together with Sade, Damien Rice and Adele :D

I was thinking just the other week whether this guy will be making a comeback. His last album was great, best of the 3 imo! Probably still able to go top 40 with the lead single too.
His third album had possibly my 2 favourite singles from him ('Iron Sky' is his best song by a mile and 'Scream (Funk My Life Up)' has a good claim to being his 2nd best) - I'm not sure he'll be able to ease back into commercial relevance after such a huge gap especially as that last album was a fairly big step down from the previous one in terms of commercial success but it is good to know he's still alive at least, moderately looking forward to new material from him.

I doubt he'll ever get a top 40 hit again, blame Spotify for that, sure they'll treat him like they do Elton John or Rod Stewart :/

I like all his albums, none is a masterpiece but all have great songs. His best 3 songs are:

1) Autumn, an amazing song from his debut album written about his grandfather when he died. That's how you write a beautiful song about a family member gone, Ed Sheeran and his team of 10 cowriters should take note.

2) Candy, the lead single from his second album. Great lyrics ("Darling I'll bathe your skin/I'll even wash your clothes/So give me so candy/Before I Go").

3) Rewind, from his debut. Again great lyrics, gotta love the chorus ("I'm not sleeping at night/So I'm going from bar to bar..."

all 3 are great songs to play on guitar

Its taking a long time but good to hear he is back,, all his previous albums were very solid for me. Commercially he wont come anywhere close but hopefully he can still do well with the album.

The Sun are reporting that Paolo will release his new album in the first half of 2022, so hopefully the lead single isn’t too far away!
he's been gone too long, hope its true
Looking forward to hearing new music from him. Will be very interested to see if he changes things up again as the last one had a good blend of genres involve, with some went down a rocky sound too like Funk was. 'Iron Sky' may just be the best thing he's released imo. I know streaming was only just coming in at the time it charted but it really should have peaked in the top 40 :(

Iron sky peaked at @42, bit unlucky

and same for Let her down easy at @47
