September 21, 20215 yr I think Rob's is the only song I immediately recognise (bop *.*) but I'm intrigued by a lot of other names here - especially Greta Van Fleet (my colleague and Måneskin both hype them a lot :kink:) and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich as 'Legend Of Xanadu' by them is quite an eccentric #1 hit!
September 21, 20215 yr Was for a moment seeing Moyka's latest single Illusion here, but it turns out it is my illusion  (sorry for the terrible joke) Otherwise, I don't think I recognise any song here that has been a favourite of mine lately, so should be good listen! Edited September 21, 20215 yr by uhsting
September 21, 20215 yr Spotify Missing: Aesthetica, Cumulonimbia not me being given the death slot for my anniversary entry! I hope it can manage to at least qualify anyhow, even if I don't expect it will be that big of a hit.
September 21, 20215 yr 'DIP N DRIP' eventually being sent by someone after all :cheeseblock: Some moderate early hype for Jupiterdonia as well, that song wasn't far off making it into my personal chart a few weeks back. Up there with 'circle the drain' for the best I've heard from Soccer Mommy. Addy pinching a recent PopJustice Song Contest winner :kink: (it may be a coincidence but the song was released nearly 3 years ago so convenient timing  xx)
September 21, 20215 yr so guys I would like to introduce you to (if you don't already know her) this incredible boundary-pushing Japanese pop singer, name Ado, vote for her thanks x I think I'm unfamiliar with everything else, so I'll look forward to listening.
September 21, 20215 yr Will I finally get a rare Persephonia vote? It would be cool to Q again :') I hope y'all enjoy the 90s vibe of my track
September 22, 20215 yr I'm only familiar with Soccer Mommy and COBRAH tracks so looking forward to dive in! The semi sounds a lot more pop than last month based on the Spotify playlist previews
September 22, 20215 yr 5 days to vote :drama: PS: Listen to Kathaldzaia entry at least twice! It's such a grower *.*

Addy pinching a recent PopJustice Song Contest winner :kink: (it may be a coincidence but the song was released nearly 3 years ago so convenient timing  xx) :o :kink: In all seriousness, I am happy it won PJSC but it could only mean that it won't win BJSC (is that still a myth?) but fingerz crossed it does well because I think it is my fave track I've sent this year
September 22, 20215 yr so we got Cascade-esque version of Roxette's 'Spending My Time' in this semi :kink:
September 22, 20215 yr Very peculiar to see Heat Above entered (and right after me in the running order coincidentally). I was introduced to it by my partner's cousin last month, definitely sounds like the sort of thing that should do well in this!
September 22, 20215 yr Heat Above is actually a fair bit better than I was expecting given all I really know of Greta Van Fleet is the internet clowning them for ripping off Led Zeppelin. And yes they do sound rather similar but I think you're on to something with that prediction.
September 22, 20215 yr so we got Cascade-esque version of Roxette's 'Spending My Time' in this semi :kink: Guilty. I didn't even know the original and only recently realised it was a small UK hit in the early 90s! Yohanna on a techno song was something I couldn't pass up
September 22, 20215 yr 5 days to vote :drama: It is 6 days (+ like 1 hour counting from when the thread dropped) to be fair although Ben did say the deadline would be the 28th #exclusiveleaks so not sure why it has been moved forward a day
