September 28, 20213 yr It’s probably going to be Ed so ‘The Joker And The Queen’ is my prediction. He said in an interview he thinks that’s the ‘Perfect’ and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ of this album. He also said he’s got a song with Elton John coming so it could be that.

October 6, 20213 yr If it is actually a Christmas song, new Christmas songs don't exactly have a great track record against the usual classics (Band Aids 20 & 30 are the only newly released unambiguous Christmas songs to hit #1 this century I believe and obviously they're both just covers of the 1984 #1 lol) although maybe that could be different if it is Ed Sheeran behind it x edit: I guess there was that Ellie Goulding thing too but we don't talk about that. That also reminds me it's not too long until people can get back to making Alexa memes that actually make sense! Ed & Elton to be Amazon exclusive too? xo
October 6, 20213 yr I always have to go back to my Christmas playlist to remind myself of new Christmas songs released each December lol(I add them all to it each year) as although it’s only 10 months ago it seems like a lifetime! Hope this Ed/Elton Xmas track isn’t a ballad and it’s something different I mean didn’t Ed write the XF winners Xmas song a few years back by Matt Terry and it got to number 3? And ‘Afterglow’ didn’t set the Xmas chart alight last year by any means despite being released 2 days late people thought it would sail to number one still so depends on the song I guess. Have a feeling people will be all Ed out by the end of the year though so might actually flop lol!
