I kind of expected more from Coldplay/BTS with 5 versions to download and stream plus the CD single

So it's the non-Guetta remix version charting? That's interesting as it sounds the more commercial. Either way it's getting it's deserved top 40 appearance.

I think there have been 2 more versions of the Coldplay/BTS song released since the previous update - the webstore mass buying isn't a thing in the UK afaia, it's just the stans downloading from iTunes again. I think there's a good chance it drops back to #3 unless they release yet more versions tomorrow.

 

Great to see 'Love Tonight' fiiiinally being reset, should have been weeks ago but better late than never (and I hope they do play the Guetta remix on the chart show as I surprisingly like it more than the original).

 

I wonder if the CKay song could be a future #1 at the rate it's rising? Could do it pretty easily if it gets a new remix with a bigger name which it very well could any moment. Aside, looking forward to CL making her commercial breakthrough in late 2022 to continue the pattern of CJ getting a hit in late 2020 and CKay getting one now :cheeseblock:

Actually I reckon Love Tonight would have been hovering around just outside the Top 20 the last few weeks if on SCR so it’s probably not lost much in terms of peak - it would just have had a much longer Top 40 run if it had been re-set earlier.

It'll give it a better peak far lower than it should have got though.

 

But still much closer to where it should have peaked than if they didn't reset it... :P

Great Natalie Imbruglia is still top 6 and hopefully will stay top 10 although her sales have really trailed off (as expected) she has definitly sold less than 800 copies in the last 2 days from reading between the mondays mids and todays.

Not even 200 sold yesterday. She’s on 3.8k so far, 1k less than the #10 sold for last week so I suspect she’ll miss the Top 10.

Such a shame. This is a fantastic album with several standout tracks (superior to the more radio friendly songs she’s released as singles this far). The whole album ties together. ‘Dive to the Deep’ is about as Sophisticated a pop song as you’ll hear this year. Hoping she hangs on for a too 10. One of my favourite albums this year…

I hope so. :wub: Guetta's remix is far superior to the original one imo.

Hopefully it will be included on important Spotify playlists after being played on the Chart Show this Friday. :dance:
