October 6, 20215 yr Oh wow! I wonder how much was available! That was so quick :cheeseblock: Definitely a positive sign.  Next week is their last shot at #1 before Ms Adkins drops.
October 6, 20215 yr I expect us all to denounce Elton for his horrific desperation as much as we did when Ed sold 99p CD singles etc. (As much as I am being #edsheerandefenceforce here as per usual I'd be quite happy if 'Cold Heart' can nab a week before Adele probably takes over - although I would still not be certain that Adele will stay at #1 for that long, if the song is poorly received there's every chance it could have similar trajectory beyond its first day to 'No Time To Die' or any of the songs from Drake's album)
October 6, 20215 yr Take your advice for yourself before coming for me Hey hun I am super chilled but thank you very much. I love that you care.  I am here if you need me. Love ya hun. Just Carol Hunny
October 6, 20215 yr I expect us all to denounce Elton for his horrific desperation as much as we did when Ed sold 99p CD singles etc. Are they SIGNED 99p CD singles though? If so, I'm more than happy to as I said at the time 🙋
October 6, 20215 yr Omg Carol When we needed her most, she returned  Miss you suga tits   Just Carol Hunny
October 6, 20215 yr Whilst I agree with most of this I wouldn't say it's a non-purpose record. A lot of noise was made when Black Eyed Peas managed 26 consecutive weeks at #1 in America across 2 songs in 2009. Even when Lil Nas X broke the record for longest consecutive reign with one song a few years back, BEP's record was brought up. As was Usher's record of total weeks at #1 in 2004. Breaking such a record with one, two or however many songs is still a massive achievement. A lot of it could indeed be down to the stars aligning at the right time yes but I'm sure Ed more than anyone else knows the quirks of the current chart rules so on top of another inevitably successful album campaign why wouldn't he seek the extra gloss and statistics where possible. Don't get me wrong, I actually find stats like that really interesting, and honestly the more absurd they are, the better, I just think it's too easy to make mental leaps from 'Ed Sheeran is interested in charts' to 'Ooh I bet Ed will be SEETHING if he spends merely 15 consecutive weeks at #1 and I will drink his tears' which doesn't help anyone and will only lead to those same people getting madder and madder when he keeps kicking goals.
October 6, 20215 yr Are they SIGNED 99p CD singles though? If so, I'm more than happy to as I said at the time 🙋 According to Kath's post, yes, they include a signed art card x I admire the consistency though  (As an aside, is it just me who doesn't really see the value in buying a 'signed' item online? Unless you physically witness the item being signed surely there isn't really any way to know the signature is real and not just mass printed and/or forged lol)
October 6, 20215 yr I would like to think Elton has the time to physically sign the art cards. He did a zoom interview with Dua this week for Capital FM even though he is recovering from a broken hip!
October 6, 20215 yr There was a really controversial incident a few years ago where Demi Lovato was caught selling loads of "signed" stuff that had actually been done with an autopen device, so I don't know if since then there's been a way for signatures to be verified and authenticated.
October 6, 20215 yr Yeh don’t have images of Elton signing them in his big mansion 😂 This is turning into one of the great chart predictions threads btw with the return of Just Carol 😂

October 6, 20215 yr Bennettga potentially still contending for a top 5 debut after all? Looks like they might overtake Hans Zimmer, if so it'd just be a question of if it stays ahead of either Drake or Olivia. This is a good showing for it after their first album together only got to #10 (this one seems like it will definitely do better than that unless there are #shenanigans), always thought that people predicting it to have a chance of #1 were being a little too optimistic.
October 6, 20215 yr where is ewan likely to end up this week We've got no other sales info so your guess is as good as ours, but bear in mind No Time to Die will be coming for an SCR reset which will send it into the top 40 this Friday, so his top 40 position is looking shaky.
October 6, 20215 yr The Elton John signed CDs are available at the moment! God is real! Release a cassette bundled with a lock of Dua's hair king :cheeseblock:
