Curious to see where James Blake and Oh Wonder land this week, I wouldn't expect either to crack the top 10 this time but a decent position would be nice

Unlike last time James Blake has all formata synchronized so

Shiuld be his highest charting in a while

oh wow that is brilliant news, I was expecting it to be fairly close but Eltua being a whole 3k ahead means they could definitely have it this week! :cheer:

very pleasing to see Shouse top 20 and Ewan McVicar safely top 40 this time (I knew his #42 position was nothing to worry about on Friday but good to have confirmation of it)

looks like 'Seventeen Going Under' will easily be top 40 this week once it gets its auto-reset too, not a fan of him but it would be silly if he still didn't have a top 40 hit after two big-selling album debuts.

More info coming at 5:45 but some bonus info for now:

- Ed only outsold Elton & Dua by a whopping 34 chart sales yesterday

- Sam Fender is #41 (Spit of You), #48 (Get You Down) and #52 (Seventeen Going Under) in the singles. Seventeen Going Under would be #25 on SCR (and it's doing more than enough for a reset)

- Maneskin #43

Yikes at those album sales!! I feel like Sam Fender should be higher too given his last album achieved 40k+.
:cheer: Elton/Dua 3k ahead and don’t even need to account for First Look biases now.

PULL THROUGH!

:yahoo: :cheer:

An acoustic version is being released at midnight! Hope they can hold on omg! Stream and buy Cold Heart people!

Looks like Bryan Adams will be keeping the consecutive-weeks-by-artist record no-one realised he had until a month or two ago!

Another decade with a Bernie Taupin writing credit on a #1 too?

Great news on Seventeen Going Under and Tell Me Something Good, also Heat Waves might actually get #4 this week *.*

I’d love Cold Heart to get there. But Elton will be No 1 later this year with his Ed collab

I need to lose faith in the UK public ever giving James Blake a top 5 album it seems. Can't see him holding that unless he has some fake cassette sales around the corner. Boo xx

Pretty underwhelming sales for Sam Fender, I was kind of expecting him to open with a higher figure than his debut but that seems unlikely now. Still reasonably good sales by 2021 standards though and hope that he will secure a top 40 place with 'Seventeen Going Under' (not one of his better songs imo but will take what we can get - a little too much 'sounds like a Killers B-Side', I'd have far preferred it to be 'Get You Down' getting the top 40 placement, at least that should get a new peak as well).

edit: if true that a bunch of his website sales haven't shipped/been counted yet that may explain that though, hope that will be sorted by the end of the week!

Fingers crossed for 'Cold Heart' to hang on - I do like 'Shivers' more but it's had its time and it would be good to see a veteran getting an unexpected new #1 hit, plus Dua finally getting another #1 too after being quite unlucky not to get one from the 'Future Nostalgia' era.

Yikes at those album sales!! I feel like Sam Fender should be higher too given his last album achieved 40k+.

Most orders from his store haven’t shipped due to delays, so I assume they haven’t been counted yet
