To break a Christmas record just on a typical Friday... It's something else... And that comes along with insane YT numbers... And being 1 on AM and Amazon... I mean... How she's doing it?
So wait... If she broke Mariah record which we know now she did... We're talking about 2M in the UK as a realistic number at least?
Adele is over 20 million Spotify streams, and that was as of 2 hours ago, there is still another 2 hours or so in the tracking time, we could be looking at 25 to 30 million streams

I actually voted over 2M and then thought I had overestimated based on some of the responses but yeah she’ll smash that.

 

I’ve never seen this many people of all ages, genders, sexualities, races all talking about a single release on Twitter / social sites.

 

She’s so multi generational and crosses over across so many groups of people. What a star! Nearly 40M on YouTube as well which is insane for a solo female artist (usually only K-Pop that does that number on YouTube on day one isn’t it I know that’s hugely popular on there for YouTube views)

'Hello' actually still holds the record for the fastest video to reach 1 billion views so she's no stranger to YouTube domination! (Although indeed first day views are dominated by K-Pop songs these days)

Whoa! Amazing, she’s a phenomena.

 

She’s been all over the news all day which is great a headline on all the main news bulletins, what other artist gets that type of promo 😁

But I wouldn't be surprised if the first day exceeds 2.5M tbh. Billie debuted with 1M in the UK with that song from the Bond movie (that no one cared) so I expect astronomical numbers for Adele's new song.
The fact that it did 1 million streams in a day is kind of proof that some people did care xx

Word in the street is that she did 36 million streams today :o

 

I don't know if that's just Spotify or amongst all the streaming platform, but dear lord :o

36 million sounds a little more plausible than the 49 million reported from a different unspecified 'streets' in the other thread :kink:

 

Is there really any way that anyone would be able to know the number before it's officially reported?

She has really told the story over the last 3 mains singles, Rolling in The Deep we saw her building the house, Hello we saw here move in and now in Easy on Me saw her move out and love on
I think I went for opening and peak with 2-2.25 million streams, as much as I'd like her to increase or hold those values all week I doubt she will but I wouldn't be surprised if shes still doing around the million mark by next Friday.
