I'm prefer # 1 for LadBaby again than Adele on the top of Christmas chart.

Why?

I wouldn't be against LadBaby going for it for one final time, just so they can hold the record outright. It's for a good cause, they're nice people, and they're always genuinely thrilled to get to #1, so why not.

Yet another charidee song about a frigging sausage roll?

There's a reason even something as mighty as the Band Aid concept faced diminishing returns last time, eventually it must start to wear thin.

Speaking of Band Aid, only 3 years until Band Aid 40!

Will they even bother this time?

The LadBaby songs have actually increased in first week sales each time so far though, inexplicably.

Had Band Aid 30 done better than it did then I would have said 100% yes but bearing in mind that the re-enters the chart every year in the streaming era anyway i'm not so sure they'll bother.

They're doing it again this year. Can they get Top 5 again?

BORIS JOHNSON IS STILL A ********************

Me and The Kunts are going head to head with Ed Sheeran and Elton John this Christmas with our brand new single Boris Johnson Is Still A ***************.

"Why are you bothering, Kunt? Didn't you make your point last year?"

He's still there and he's definitely not any less of a **************. Since last year they have tabled a bill to take away our right to protest against them and in the last week have tried to change the rules so they have less chance of being held accountable for their corruption. That's why we're going again. You don't fell a big tree with one swipe of a little chopper...

It's got to be 'God Gave Sausage Rolls To You' this year. You heard it here first :D

I would like Ladbaby to do it again just for the outright record.

Although I'm sure Ed & Elton will likely have a lot of physicals etc.

Not to mention Adele may have a song or two or three doing really well. Although Adele's songs likely won't be as much of a threat as I think they will die down a bit by Christmas. In saying that, the second single might be a monster hit. Especially if they release the Max Martin/Shellback song as the second single. Apparantley the music video has already been filmed as well!

Small update

11/8 Ed Sheeran & Elton John

15/8 LadBaby

11/4 Adele

9/1 ABBA

16/1 Ed Sheeran

16/1 Gary Barlow & Sheridan Smith

18/1 Elton John

18/1 The Wanted

18/1 Wham!

20/1 Lola Young

I take it that a bet for just Ed Sheeran (or for just Elton John for that matter) won't pay out for Ed/Elton given the huge difference in odds between them  (I remember thinking about this back when 'River' was contending for Xmas #1 as well)

It's a little strange really that the Xmas #1 odds are always just listed as the artist with no mention of the song titles.

Ladbaby were on Lorraine this morning talking about their new sausage roll Christmas book and they didn’t rule out trying for Christmas number one this year saying it would be a pleasure to battle against the likes of Adele and Ed/Elton in the battle with a smile on their faces
