Not surprising with no radio play, no video etc.

 

What is BMG thought process now? They probably have a plan with the song being promoted on J Ross. Video comes out on 5th Nov. Maybe they have a radio edit or an extended mix EP to come on same day. Maybe wishful thinking. Would love BBC radio 2 to playlist Kylie and Jessie instead of Olly and Kylie

 

Remember when Say Something and Magic both did well extending longevity with remixes and versions.

I reckon it’ll be playlisted on album release. It is slightly surprising how poorly it’s performed on iTunes so far but then it didn’t have a Radio 2 premiere followed by a performance.

Plan probably to build up streams of the songs and get on a few playlists ready for album week to get the album streaming sales.

 

If you think A Second To Midnight had Radio 2 premiere, Lorraine video premier, then Premiere on YouTube all within a few hours.

 

Now we know something is coming on 10th Nov which is probably the Gloria Gaynor track and video two day before the album release so hopefully this regains momentum when video out on 5th. Even if she gets a little Lorraine clip in and Jools Holland name check on Saturday evening.

 

My only thing is it sounds like a club disco track rather than radio friendly? Will an edit work.
