Nobody is selling 200,000 in week 2 in 2021 UK. Even if Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were to rise from death and do a duet album together, still not moving 200,000 units

Nobody >>>>>> Adele

Maybe closer to Xmas chart week she could do those figures again!
Westshite will not even scrape top 50. Absolutely FINISHED, FLUSH!!! Good riddance to the worst band OF ALL TIME!!!
200k in week 2 sounds impossible but lets see, maybe approaching xmas will help her :(

She'd sell 200,000 in week two even if it was January. Her name is Adele!

So wait and see, even more so now that she's announced an ITV special that will air in the midweek debut of the album.

It's kind of sad how predictable the album chart is becoming. I think artists like Ed and Adele should be trying to go up against eachother instead of running scared
'Is becoming'? Hasn't it always been like this? (As it entirely makes sense for it to be, there's zero tangible incentive for artists (or more to the point, label executives) to not take a week where they are more likely to get a #1 album in the name of 'making the chart more interesting')

I mean there did used to be an element of having to fight for it against the existing No 1 though, which has long since gone.

Taylor not looking like too bad a bet for the 3rd week now

I hope she can get it! If not, then pls =

The previous Taylor re-recording sold 21k first week, there's surely no way Ed's 3rd week are going to be anywhere near that low (probably not ABBA's 2nd week sales either).

Yeah I'm a little less confident of this assertion now whoops.

There’s no way that Abba will do less than 21k next week, even without lots of the vinyl being delayed.
ABBA night on BBC 2 next Saturday night should help that second week
Which week is Little Mix? Next week?

Yes they're releasing this coming Friday. Multiple formats.

They could be in with a decent shout then, I think I’d bet on them to take it next week at this point.
