Very quiet week for new releases, I’m really liking the new Jonasu song but I highly doubt it will do anything chart wise as after a first big smash the follow up single usually doesn’t do very well (like Shane Codd for example)
Adele’s album is still holding very well on Apple Music
Apple always seems to make album tracks hold up better than Spotify, Ed was the same most of his songs dropped only a few places a day for the first couple of weeks.

Gayle-Abcdefu now #18 on Amazon, #28 on Apple

and #7 combined on Spotify today If I'm counting right

whats the name of the UK Spotify playlist that is the most important for Xmas songs? can't never remember how it's called

the UK focused one is Christmas Crackers

however when you search for christmas playlists the first result is Christmas Hits which is the US one so that will have the biggest chart effect.

Meekz was one of the uncredited features on Dave's 'In The Fire'. He's also had a couple of top 100 hits himself, I expect he'll get something into the top 40 some time soon.

 

I have no idea what an Emmy Meli is tho. x (aside from obvz being a TikTok song)

I don't think any of the Christmas playlists have been updated with any new songs from last / this year at all unless I'm missing something

Adele on 2.7k album sales from spotify yesterday, must be around 5k from streams
Clean Bandit are clearly trying to associate themselves with this scene (and/or are being pushed to do so by their label) so this is not particularly surprising. May be another chance for Unknown T to finally get a surprisingly long overdue top 40 hit though I expect it'll be Wes Nelson driving it if it becomes a hit.

 

Its a decent garage tune :D

 

It is certainly an improvement compared to their recent rather generic house stuff.
