I wonder if a few extended mixes vinyl got dispatched yesterday to add to its position as it is re entry in vinyl album chart at 21..... don't think the guest list vinyl would have sold a lot ......

 

Going from 80 to 66 since Weds is strange.....

Maybe yeah. There was missing Amazon sales for like Tuesday and Wednesday on the Thursday mids though.

I also feel there's a deliberete delay on the box set to spread the extension of the album campaign. What's the betting the gloria gaynor video is released around then too?

 

How can a day before release can they say there is a shortage of raw materials....

 

 

Was thinking it would end up around #90 so over the moon to see it return to the Top 75 and clock up another chart week :cheer:

 

Really hope the extended mixes gives it a decent boost.

Well great news disco is back in the T75. Hopefully next week it will climb with the extended mixes being out!
Well I would hope if they included the extended vinyl within this weeks chart it would be much higher than 66….fingers crossed it was purely missing data being added by HMV and that weird short lived Amazon deal.

In the Thursday midweeks, when taking into account the Top 200 artist albums and the compilations, Kylie was only the 52nd best selling vinyl of the week so far, with 264 copies. Ending up at #21 today, based on the midweeks it seems like she would have sold 600+ vinyl. 300+ in a day is quite a leap! So maybe it is some (or all?) of the Extended Mixes from Amazon/HMV etc counting early (if it's all of them and it's only 300-ish copies, that's a bit disappointing).

 

Surely Disco is getting close to 150K?

I'm thinking it might be on 147,500 by now!

Or could it be the extended mix vinyls sent out on 12th November that got added? Who knows lol.

Thanks for this, hopefully they’ve split the sales across the two weeks…I suppose as it’s being added to Disco’s total sales it doesn’t matter when they add them as it’s not a new release 10/12.

 

If it’s just 300 in total that’s a shame. That said 264 vinyl sold by close of play Wednesday that’s decent on week three so there is some interest as it’s not cheap….guess that little plug on Lorraine may have helped.

 

Think how rampant all of the Disco vinyl variants were snapped up last year, it was a frenzy what with the turquoise, blue, marbled and glow in the dark all rapidly selling out release week.

 

Guess the collector’s are less taken with GLE and Extended. Not sure why.

Isn't it supposed to be limited edition how many did they make

 

Only the Boxset was limited edition - everything else was a standard release I think?
