I wonder was disco in or out of the top 100 today.

I think it’ll probably be out now - the Kylie store sale boost wouldn’t have last long I’m guessing with most people picking up what they wanted on the 1st day?

Nice she just beat 1000 sales…looks as though it’ll be better this week.
158,119 total for Disco, 1001 last week.

Thanks for the update - love that she just managed 1k last week too!

Not in the official Top 100 today but has main gains on other charts

Physical #19

Sales #24

The handling by BMG for Kylie albums so far have been extremely positive.

The label view the albums with a 2 year period which pays off.

As expected the price cut sales boost has worn off now -

Disco

Sales #54 (LW 24)

Physical #54 (LW 19)

Unfortunately Disco isn't Top 200 this week. Farewell

Westlife - Wild Dreams was #55 in the sales chart (1 place below Kylie - Disco) and they sold 487 copies (Side note: Westlife's streaming for that album is surprisingly impressive [relatively speaking]... they sold 671 units via streaming, even though that album is 10 weeks old now. I really wouldn't have expected a studio album of theirs to have 58% of its weekly sales come from streaming, at this point).

So, maybe Disco sold 500 pure copies at most. Disco's streaming seems to have settled to be around 230 copies a week. Anyway we're probably talking 700+ sales overall last week, but that's well below what the #200 sold this week (921).

The week before, Disco sold 840 pure sales out of 1077 overall. Losing 300+ physicals makes a drastic difference, unfortunately!

So I think Disco will be a little under 160,000 total, but will definitely pass that figure this coming week.

Sadly the problem for Disco is that its streams aren't impressive, and that is what is needed once physical sales inevitably dry up. I know at this point her album is 15 months old, but the Guest List edition has so much on it, and still the most popular 12 tracks on it can only generate 200 or so streaming units... that's a shame.

Thank you Jay.

That 12 track rule…so I guess they don’t combine for example the three Real Groove tracks into one or add the extended mix versions to the original album tracks?

I would have thought she’d have more than Westlife from streaming….especially now that we have the Guest List Additions of ASTM and Dua Lipa versions.

Suppose the numbers are spread a bit more globally than say Westlife.

Also, the Airplay for KOL did help drive sales a bit, alongside the reductions….I do hope the GG duet is sent to radio and the video is shown….it will improve the physical sales a little bit especially with the reductions….a bit like Golden and ALTR did. I mean they clearly have stock left, nothing has sold out.

I would have thought the same re kylie and westlife but as you said the numbers are spread more. Could you imagine kylies streaming numbers if it was around at both her peaks, her sales would be absolutely massive.
