On their 2014 debut, Zaba, the Oxford quartet aligned themselves with a storied lineage of abstract alt-rock—the moody atmospheres of Radiohead, the tropical textures of Animal Collective—but in Dave Bayley, Glass Animals possess an uncommonly smooth singer who could mould those left-field influences into sultry, R&B-flavoured pop songs. While the album made them indie darlings, it also earned the group admirers beyond the typical NME reader—the 2015 single “Lose Control” saw them team up with Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ for a trippy rap track. That sense of anything-goes openness fully flourished on 2016’s How to Be a Human Being, whose procession of freaky, funky anthems and synth-smeared slow jams earned Glass Animals their first Mercury Prize nomination. But after drummer Joe Seaward was nearly killed in a 2018 cycling accident, Glass Animals dialled down the eccentricity for 2020’s Dreamland, a more intimate record that further harmonized the art-rock/club-pop dialectic at the heart of their music. Speaking about the single “Your Love (Déjà Vu)” to Apple Music, Hayley said, “The idea was to take my favourite '90s producers like Timbaland and The Neptunes and the way they used samples, yet record a lot of those sounds in the way The Beatles or Beach Boys might’ve done it... and then taking Beatles and Beach Boys sounds and resampling them as [those producers] might’ve done.” That Dreamland cracked the Top 10 in both the UK and US is a testament to Glass Animals’ gift for melding different styles and eras into the sound of now. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 05 Heat Waves -1- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Glass Animals http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

November 26, 20214 yr 33 Top 100 entries without a Top 10 for D-Block Europe! Really hoping that somehow that streak isn't broken later today... I was kind of hoping that Switch OTR despite being awful holding up well to keep DBE out of the top 10 but it's done really well on streaming there's no chance of it missing.
November 26, 20214 yr They could’ve skipped this but at least it’s out of the top 30. I also think FONY failed to re-enter but it should next week

November 26, 20214 yr 30 | 27 | 20th week The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber STAY 6th single from F*CK LOVE 3: OVER YOU Released: 9th July 2021 Label: Columbia Records Chart Statistics NE (22/07/2021) | 5-2-3-2-2-2-2-2-4-10-11-12-13-16-15-16-16-21-27-30 Sales: 800k+ Certification: Platinum Status: Accelerated Chart Ratio 06 Sales 02 Audio Streaming 02 Video Streaming Video kTJczUoc26U Biography The Kid LAROI In an Apple Music interview from mid-2020, The Kid LAROI reminisced about the short but formative time he spent in LA living with the late emo rapper Juice WRLD. They’d hang out all day, bonding, making music, seeing friends, whatever. People always coming and going, never a dull moment. Sometimes, Juice would wake LAROI up in the middle of the night, wild with excitement about a track LAROI had to put a verse on. Other mornings, LAROI would wake up to his and Juice’s managers saying it was time to pack up and head to Texas. Like, now. He was 15, 16 years old. “I’d never experienced anything like that,” he said. “Especially coming from Australia, where everything is kind of like its own bubble.” Not that 15-year-olds outside Australia would be used to it either. But such is the meteoric ascent of a talented young rapper circa 2020. Born Charlton Howard in 2003, LAROI—whose name is a reference to the Kamilaroi Indigenous nation, in which he has family roots—grew up in the suburbs of Sydney, and began to work on music when he was a pre-teen. Like Juice WRLD, Post Malone or even Lil Peep, LAROI’s key tracks—“ALWAYS DO”, “TRAGIC” and the Juice WRLD collaboration “GO”—blend ultra-melodic trap with shades of alternative rock and classic pop, a fusion that has put him on the front burner of pop-rap. His first album, F*CK LOVE, hit the Top 10 before he turned 18. - Apple Music Justin Bieber There’s a moment in a 2020 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where Justin Bieber begins—quietly, hesitantly—to cry. “It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry, and not knowing where to turn, and everyone telling me they love me, and just turning their back on you in a second,” Bieber says, each clause kicking up memories like dust. The point isn’t to weep with or for him—he had more dreams come true in his first 25 years than most people manage in a lifetime. But he’s also one of the few pop stars of his generation to have truly grown up in public, weathering the cable newsification of celebrity culture in the internet era while still trying to develop as both an artist and a person. Even early on, you could tell he had his eye on the future, balancing a doe-eyed wholesomeness with earnest attempts at hip-hop and R&B, material that suited him as a kid with material that reflected his growth into adolescence and adulthood. Some teen-pop singers end up trapped in amber; Justin Bieber has, knocks and all, kept swimming. Born in London, Ontario, in 1994, Bieber was famously discovered when his future manager, Scooter Braun, stumbled on some performance videos that Bieber’s mom had uploaded to YouTube to share with family and friends. Braun, who understood not only Bieber’s appeal but the potential of the internet, encouraged him to keep making videos and keep the equipment cheap—an approach that not only helped Bieber’s growing fanbase to understand that he was still just a kid like them, but drafted a new blueprint for how artists could reach audiences in the digital era. With the exception of a voice change around 2011, 2009’s My World, 2010's My World 2.0 and 2012's Believe are more or less of a piece: the sound of a boy trying to stick the landing into puberty. Released in 2015, Purpose showed Bieber developing a more thoughtful connection to his material, including collaborations with vanguard pop producers like Diplo, Skrillex and benny blanco. After a five-year break during which Bieber underwent significant personal changes—including a detox from touring life, a diagnosis of Lyme disease and a epiphanic marriage to Hailey Baldwin—he came back with 2020’s Changes. “People have been putting me on a pedestal,” Bieber told Apple Music. ""I didn’t ask for that. Obviously I love making music, but there are a lot of people that love making music and they’re not in the position that I’m in. I’m just trying to steward that wisely, steward my relationship wisely. I want people to take a look at my story—hopefully, my words can make a difference.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History The Kid LAROI 2020 43 GO (The Kid LAROI & Juice WRLD) -1- 2020 38 SO DONE -2- 2020 66 ALWAYS DO -AT- 2020 02 WITHOUT YOU -3- 2020 63 Reminds Me Of You (Juice WRLD & The Kid LAROI) -NAS- 2021 47 No Return (Polo G feat. Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (Michael) and Andrew John Ridgeley first met in secondary school as 12-year-olds back in 1975. Their 1981 debut as Wham!, the pop-rap snack “Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do?),” preached the joy of life on welfare amid rampant British unemployment. As the group’s principal songwriter and frontman, Michael’s exuberant turn on “Young Guns (Go for It!)” precipitated Wham!’s vibrant, post-disco debut, Fantastic, in 1983, which parlayed the duo’s carefree vigor into the glistening hedonism of “Club Tropicana.” Returning in 1984 with the emphatic “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” the group folded Detroit soul into an effervescent pop marvel that sent Wham! to the summit of the U.S. pop charts. Michael took over production on their follow-up album, Make It Big, whose modernized Motown sound on the brooding boogie cut “Everything She Wants” and the resplendent pop-soul of “Careless Whisper” cemented his standing as one of pop’s foremost performer/composers. Ending 1984 with the career-defining synth-pop torch song “Last Christmas,” Wham! harked back to their feel-good beginnings with “I’m Your Man” in 1985 before amicably parting to allow Michael to focus on his solo career. Their final album, 1986’s Music from the Edge of Heaven, featuring their last single “The Edge of Heaven,” wrote the postscript on a prodigious four-year passage that flourished into an indelible pop legacy. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1982 03 Young Guns (Go For It) -1- 1983 08 Wham Rap!
