Lionfish is definitely giving me STRONG Will Young vibes this week vocally, but lots of the clues fit too

Can they please stop murdering Whitney songs (and Dolly at the same time), that sounded like going through a washing machine

Doughnuts is truly f***ing dreadful, I know it's just for fun, but YIKES

So far it feels like everyone is about 75% worse at singing this week - Doughnuts was woeful in the little they did sing

Michael Owen is the doughnut! From my limited football knowledge his singing voice isnt too different to how he speaks and the mannerisms etc are very him, he is a Capricorn too.

 

I imagine he'll prove popular with the audience too and keep the mask on :lol:

RoboBunny is Mark from Westlife 1000%! There is no escaping that vocal when he uses his natural voice.

The female singers are actually the tricky ones for me! I think I have the males in that

But the females I am clueless! Fireworks clues fit Michelle Keegan but its just not how id imagine her vocals to sound and I don't think she'd do a show like this. Mushroom I am staggered at, I really dont think its Jane McDonald though.

Same sometimes but then the voice at times is soooo different, there’s not been much clues linking firework to Pixie either

On paper Will really should have performed better

I usually ignore the clues and go for the voice to be honest, unless you’re a Wikipedia anorak most of the clues are impossible

Yeah, in the past ive always went for the voice too the clues are deliberately vague or worded so you think different people.

 

Will was quite robbed tonight really but weve seen before that more fun types of performers perform well during the early rounds.

Doughnuts is 100% Gary Lineker, surely? The syrup on the table in the clues VT had ‘golden boot syrup’, which he won. Watching along with Joseph who noticed crisps in last week’s VT, and the song choices are very apt. Eye of the Tiger for MOTD, Spice Girls referring to the 2012 Olympics, that he was a commentator for?

Was sad to see Will go out. It wasn’t a great song choice though and it didn’t sit in anything like the right key for him. Maybe he hasn’t sung that much for a while either as I thought it sounded like a weaker version of his voice. :(

I'm a fan of Pixie and ive never really heard her in Firework (i'd say Pixie is stronger tbf) but the accent as well I don't feel matches because Pixie speaks with a bit of a lisp and she isn't northern i'd be shocked if it was her (I know the voice is disguised and all that) I've seen a few people say it but i've never heard it yet myself.
