Ed Sheeran & Elton John challenge Adele for another #1 single with Merry Christmas. Notable releases include SZA's newest track I Hate U and Juice WRLD/Justin Bieber's Wandered to L.A., plus there's new singles from 5 Seconds of Summer, Shawn Mendes, Kim Petras, Ariana Grande/Kid Cudi and Wet Leg. There's also a physical release for ABBA's christmas single Little Things

Adele's 30 looks safe for a third week atop the album chart. There could be a high debut for JLS with 2.0, plus there's new releases from Polo G, Khalid, Volbeat, The Lottery Winners, LP and Arca

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

No guarantees here but watch out for these likely going to ACR:

Coldplay & BTS - My Universe

THE ANXIETY, WILLOW & Tyler Cole - Meet Me At Our Spot

The Weeknd - Take My Breath

Also on no decline 3 weeks ago were Alone With You, Drive, Better Days and Tell Me Something Good - does it look like any of those have survived?

Spit Of You and Don't Break The Heart have now reached 9 weeks but I expect the former at least is safe for now.

Spit Of You and Don't Break The Heart have now reached 9 weeks but I expect the former at least is safe for now.

All likely to be on their 2nd week of decline alongside Spit of You, but Don't Break the Heart should be on its 1st.

Thanks Joseph. I guess songs like these won't repeak this year anyway, and anything that goes to ACR about now could get a reset in January.
Is there a chart update today?

:arrr:

Is there a chart update today?

Yes I’m still here got WiFi work ok in this Premier inn all good go

No guarantees here but watch out for these likely going to ACR:

Coldplay & BTS - My Universe

THE ANXIETY, WILLOW & Tyler Cole - Meet Me At Our Spot

The Weeknd - Take My Breath

Take My Breath is already on it by the looks of it since it's been out of the top 40 for 2 weeks.

Take My Breath is already on it by the looks of it since it's been out of the top 40 for 2 weeks.

I wouldn't have listed it there if it were already on ACR
