The gap between sales tomorrow should let us know if ed and elton have enough of a lead. Nice to see Shakin Steven's back in the top 10 it's one of my fave Christmas songs.I hope mariah can overtake Wham.

Number 9 and Number 20 on Spotify, you can normally approx songs position from Spotify, so where the hell is Ed Sheeran/Elton's extra streams from. Maybe downloads, but that's gonna be 10-50k max surely?

the songs doing a lot better on Apple and Amazon. the latter being key for it getting the first look number one. then download giving it the additional edge.

I'm expecting Adele to hold on, there's a pretty significant gap between her streaming numbers and Ed/Elton's on Spotify.

But how? Seriously.

Almost all others above it are on ACR so those Spotify numbers are very good for a new song.

What a sad first look.....Wham above Carey is nice though, hopefully pogues can overtake her too

only think don’t like with Christmas songs in chart if same song song by different Artists. Like let snow frank and dean sing it

I guess it might be the other way round on some of the other streaming services - or if not they've got multiple versions so that confuses the issue when just looking at online charts

They have a huge lead on iTunes which can count for quite a bit on First Look. (Doing well on Amazon helps too).

 

Adele should close the gap over the week but they might hang onto #1 if they're as far as 2 to 1 ahead right now.

There was only 600 units between them last week and Wham! are only barely behind on Spotify (the only service we get actual numbers for). With such small margins it's basically a coinflip. They've been running increasingly close to each other for several years now, of course with Wham! even overtaking her on the final week of last year, the trend would seem to be favouring Wham! in the long term.
