I don't really hear it much even at Christmas tbh. But the Gabrielle Aplin version continued charting well into the start of 2013 for what it's worth. I just don't see it as the kind of song that would seem weird to listen to outside of the Christmas season in the same way as I do with 'Stay Another Day'.

 

Obviously it's strongly associated with Christmas but I put it closer to '2 Become 1' than 'Stay Another Day'. I just thought it was odd that you'd go out of your way to mention it in your post despite it not even being a Christmas #1 while not including East 17!

'Hallelujah' was only Christmas #2 though. Beaten by some X Factor thing that we don't speak of any more. xx
