With it being 5 years since the sudden passing of George Michael and 'Last Christmas' being a major fave at Christmas time I thought about Wham in general as they've released some other great songs alongside LC. You can list more songs not just the obvious LC lol.

I do have my faves of theirs but might need to listen to a couple of others too, my main faves are 'Freedom', 'I'm Your Man' and 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go'.

It’ll always be ‘Club Tropicana’ for me where the drinks are free, all that’s missing is the sea!
Surely "Everything she wants" is by far the best single. "Wake me up" if I'm in a boppy mood, but to be honest they are on of my 80s faves so happy with any of them

I really like Young Guns (Go For It).

I bought it after watching their TOTP performance, but actually believed them to be a two boy/two girl group until I saw the sleeve to the single.

^well Pepsi & Shirlie did the backing vocals and also were always in the videos

1. Last Christmas

2. I'm Your Man

3. Club Tropicana

4. Everything She Wants

5. The Edge Of Heaven

6. Blue (Armed With Love)

7. Freedom

8. Young Guns

9. Wham Rap

10. Wake Me Up

unless the 2 solo George singles which were on the Wham! albums also count in which case 1. A Different Corner and all move down one place till careless whisper slots in behind Club tropicana then 2 places down the rest...

Yeh I consider them part of the group!

Begs the question... Were Wham a "boy-band"?

Two lads making radio-friendly pop music... but two very prominent female backing singers....?

Everything She Wants and Club Tropicana would be my favourites although I do have a massive soft spot for Wham Rap!

As excellent as many Wham records are though it's George's solo career which really provides endless gems for me.

If Abba can be a girl band then Wham can be a boy band 😂

Looks like im the only one that loves Shoot The Dog and his last posthumous single. And they havent included his fab guest spots with aretha, whitney or even queen and elton as they arent his songs.

If we're including George's solo tracks...

Freedom 90 is one of my fave songs of all time

A Different Corner is beautiful and one of his best

The Strangest Thing 97 sounds like a bit of an 'of the time' generic remix, but I love it!!
