The OCC want as little to do with this weeks chart as possible. They are in that rubbish position again of a chart full of xmas songs a week after xmas.

Or... they're on their holidays

Had feeling no midweek this week make it more work for Joseph tomorrow

Literally my idea of chart prep hell x

Y'all will have to bear with me tomorrow

I'm hoping for some Christmas songs to get new peaks, especially Snowman to reach the Top 40, Feliz Navidad the Top 30, Jingle Bell Rock the Top 20, and just maybe Driving Home For Christmas to go Top 10...
if Chris Rea can go top ten it’ll make this inevitable christmas madness this year worth it

This is literally all I care about as far as the top 40 is concerned. Fingers crossed!

very very unlikely given its now thursday evening and we haven’t had a single update this week yet.

well just have to wait and see now

Agree with all these. I can see the Alexa songs doing well - Ezra could be as high as #4.

Dude, you're really stepping into conspiracy theory territory here

It's as "rubbish" as the week after Halloween when nobody wants to hear Ghostbusters until the next October

Ghostbusters gets nowhere near number 1 and it is like 4 Halloween songs and loads of current hits.

The OCC hate this week I'm sure where they have to make positive articles about songs no one is listening to any more.

Why on earth are R1 playing this week's chart rather than the EoY one which would surely be of more interest? Agreement with the OCC?
