If you mean what stations, I was driving so flicking between Capital, Heart and Radio 1 - basically trying to avoid Christmas songs as I feel like I've had enough of them until next winter!

Did radio 1 play many? Know they have radio 1 anthems by year but guess they could play Xmas songs from them years!

 

I guess it is Boxing Day tho so Christmas!

The collab factor will limit the second week slump somewhat, not that it won’t still be ridiculous in the grand scheme of things.

dont want to disapoint you but its gonna be an xmas chart this week too.Ladbaby gonna lose no1 and Ed & El maybe gonna be at no1 again.i d love though to see Wham like last year.they have downloads no1 so its possible

It would have vanished from there too.

 

I think ed and elton will return to number 1 this week with mariah and wham making up the rest of the top 3.

About half the top 100 will still likely be Christmas songs if not more.

 

Hopefully Adele can do enough this week to pass 600k sales. Her streaming for 30 is rising quite nicely with Christmas songs falling out.

 

I assume "Merry Christmas" will be back to #1. Although "Last Christmas" might not be that far behind.

I believe the post Xmas chart last year was more dominated by Christmas songs than the previous week, and that was with just Christmas Day - with this year's post-Xmas chart including Christmas Eve too I expect it'll be even more dominant. They'll all disappear next week though of course.

It spent 7 weeks at #1 and because Easy On Me is on ACR, fresher songs will be #1 in the coming weeks instead. The OCC will be looking at that as a prime example of the system being a success.

 

(Christmas doesn't directly make songs go to ACR, Easy On Me was declining anyway and would still have gone to ACR now...)
