Nice climbs into the top 10 on Apple by ‘Sacrifice’ and Belters Only with a huge climb. Also didn’t see ‘Peru’ jumping up to 2!

 

Nice to see Muse into the top 50 on Spotify, hope it can climb or stabilise the rest of the week!

Muse at 42 was a bit unexpected hope they can keep going, would be really cool to see a band like them go top 40 in the current climate

Omg I would be so here for Muse getting a Top 40 hit in 2022. The Avril Lavigne/Blackbear track sneaking into the Spotify Top 100 too. I really hope this bodes well for some of this years biggest indie/alternative releases.

Would be great to see. I think even more songs are on ACR this time round than when "Bite Me" debuted, although it started out a bit stronger on spotify debuting at 73 with ~80.5k streams.

 

The "Oh My God" video is boosting the song quite nicely. Its #2 in youtube views for the UK in the daily chart on Kworb for the 12th/13th (behind "We Don't Talk About Bruno"). #12 on Apple music too and will likely climb into the top 10 once again.

 

I'm hoping it'll move up on Hot Hits/other playlists on spotify. It's currently #16 on Hot Hits UK and #22 on Today's Top Hits. "Easy On Me" is #10 & #7 on those respectively. It would be nice to see "Oh My God" get more support now it's being properly pushed as the second single.

Had not looked at the Apple Music chart for a few days so a bit of a surprise to see 'Peru' hitting #1 there and Belters Only as high as the top 5! (They were around #4 and #25 respectively the last time I checked according to Chartoo). The former seemed to stall quite quickly in the chart overall but might still have a chance of climbing to #1 after all if these continued gains on Apple are anything to go by?

 

Impressive to see Muse charting so highly on Spotify, not listened to the song yet but it'd be great to see them make a surprise return to the top 40! Also wow at 'Lost' climbing as high as #25!! Guessing it should definitely be able to re-enter the top 100 despite ACR now and might yet have a chance of getting a new peak if it carries on this momentum? (Previously peaked at #53).

 

Very glad that 'How Do I Make You Love Me?' managed to get a week in the overall chart, looks very likely it'll be a one week wonder considering it's now down to being only his 5th (!) highest song on Spotify. And probably 6th really as I think 'Take My Breath' still has its stream numbers split between the single and album versions due to the album version being an extended version.

 

Looks like Gunna has released a duet with Drake just a week after his album release... only newbie I can spot on Apple:

It was meant to be on the album in the first place (it was on the tracklist he announced just before releasing it, under the title 'Pussy Power') but seems its release was delayed due to a sample clearance issue.

 

Weirdly he dropped a deluxe version of the album that had a handful of other new songs (but not the Drake track) a few days after the original album came out, but that now seems to have been taken down, appears it may have been accidentally released early. One of those new songs ('banking on me') has apparently been popular on TikTok as a snippet so might be another hit for him if/when it gets properly released.

 

aside, if anyone is wondering this Packs and Potions song is just the bit of Lone Ranger that went viral on TikTok fleshed out into a full song then minus the other 4 rappers on that song

 

Ah, I was thinking he had pretty swiftly capitalised on the clout from 'Lone Ranger', did not realise it was literally just an extended version of his verse - I listened to 'Lone Ranger' for the first time the other day and his verse is certainly the only part of it that stands out at all so would not be surprising if 'Packs And Potions' just takes its place entirely in the chart. It already basically has on Apple Music, up to #33 there while 'Lone Ranger' has dipped out of the top 200.
