'Do You Dare?' was the B-side to 'Give Me Just a Little More Time'; a techno banger, further exploration of the club music that inspired much of 'Let's Get To It'. Are you a fan of the song?

I hated it at the time - I was still in the phase of wanting pure pop Kylie.

I appreciate it now but it just shows what a total mess and pull in different directions the whole LGTI album process was

As I said in the Little More Time thread, I loved this and played it more than the a-side. I just listened to it again and it's still good.

That she did this, Closer and I Guess I Like It Like That was so good.

There's that album - 50+1 - which was like a megamix of all her songs and these were at the start with a bunch of her other "better" songs and it made for a great first 7 or 8 tracks.

Do you dare was very different for Kylie and pwl then but it does reflect on pwls very very early work and possible gives a little hint of music that would come from Kylie years and years later.

This, along with 'I Guess I Like It Like That', is a completely different sound to anything heard from Kylie before (or indeed since) and I really like them both! Totally bonkers and giddy. I know a few fans would have liked it on the album but I think it works best as a B-side actually and I think 'I Guess I Like It Like That' should have remained one too. The album should have focused on the new jack swing and house sound.
I Guess I Like It Like That saved lets get to it album for me, i remember playing the album for the first time and was underwhelmed and then came I Guess I Like It Like That which i loved and i was like why isnt more of the album like this, i came to like some of the other songs after that such as the singles (finer feelings not included) Too Much of a Good Thing and the title track but i guess i like it like that remains my fave track on the album.
Was really pleased these great B sides were reissued with the cherry red box set….what a cool product that is and these early 90s dance tracks take me right back to 1992 and Kylie getting her techno on.

'I Guess...' is also a highlight from the album for me, totally out of place on it but it's a real hodge-podge of a record anyway. Very much inspired by 'Get Ready For This' I feel.

Fully agree on both your points, the song totally stands out on the album as its completely different to everything else, there is nothing even remotely similar on the album and yes very get ready for this inspired which is another track i love.
