January 28, 20224 yr Author Nice to see the insta-add for George and the relatively quick add for Charlie. Still no 'Down Under', you have to question at this point whether it will be added at all. Doesn't look like they'll bother with Alesso/Katy or Shawn Mendes and I guess they're done with Muse. Why no Tame Impala though?
January 28, 20224 yr I have radio 1 on in the work van, and that ‘Selecta’ song drives me and my co-worker insane, must hear it about 3 or 4 times every day and it’s utter trash, how does it deserve 6 straight weeks on the A-list

January 28, 20224 yr Isn't Love Me More the latest Mitski single.... ^yes, The only heartbreaker was the 2nd single out last November 6 Music have also added The Only Heartbreaker this week too so I guess that's what the label are going with
January 28, 20224 yr Great additions from Fontaines D.C. and Mitski <3 (I really like 'Love Me More' too but 'The Only Heartbreaker' is still my favourite song I have heard from Mitski so no complaints about that being the one to get playlisted instead albeit a bit late). Yay for FKA twigs moving up to the A-List as well. The HAZEY song is called 'Packs And Potions' btw. crazy about Mitski being playlist, always thought she was too leftfield, ? I can't speak for her whole discography but the singles from this era at least, especially this one, aren't remotely 'leftfield' unless you're allergic to anything more adventurous than the Capital FM playlist :lol: She's been pretty popular with online 'alternative' circles and with the critics for a while now I'm pretty sure (and her lead single from this era even made the Spotify top 200 iirc so she's hardly some obscure underground artist), Radio 1 were bound to pick her up eventually, if anything it's surprising it didn't happen sooner.

January 28, 20224 yr Great to see George Ezra and Fontaines DC added. I do like the HAZEY track too. And yes for increased spins for FKA Twiggs and Wlilkinson might actually have a decent hit on their hands after dozens of similar style D&B songs! Think the Charlie Puth song will be big too!
