It was written by the Sugababes in collaboration with Xenomania. The song received generally favourable reviews from critics, who praised its composition and highlighted it as one of the album's better tracks. "Angels with Dirty Faces" was heavily promoted through Cartoon Network's animated television series The Powerpuff Girls. Merchandise was created to promote the release of the theatrical film based on the series, while Cartoon Network Studios produced the song's music video, a reworking of the episode "Nano of the North" from the original series' fourth season. I never knew this or saw anything of this at the time but: 250,000 posters which feature the Sugababes and the Powerpuff Girls were distributed throughout cinemas, while an additional 500,000 posters were delivered to stores of the supermarket chain Asda. The video was also included on the PlayStation 2 video game The Powerpuff Girls: Relish Rampage. The Sugababes' cartoon characters from the video were featured on the desktops of custom computers that were promoted by the group.

February 11, 20223 yr 'Shape' deserves to be higher especially over the title track, which itself is fine, but wouldn't call it a strong single choice, but as a double a-side with the far superior 'Stronger' it sits well & did what it needed to do as a soundtrack release. 'Shape' is a stunning track with the sample used perfectly. The single choices from this era were perfect with this rounding things off beautifully. As for the other results, no surprises so far 'No Man, No Cry' is definately the weakest moment on here & 'Virgin Sexy' has aged badly, its just cringey & glad it NEVER became a single as it was rumoured at one point (THANK GOD that didn't happen). 'Breathe Easy' is nice enough & works well as the final track on the album. 'Switch' is a fun catchy up-tempo filler track that doesn't really stand out amongst the far greater moments. I predict that either 'More Than A Million Miles' or 'Supernatural' will drop next?

February 14, 20223 yr 'Supernatural' a decent album filler, fairly catchy, but its placement on the album coming after the singles & 'Blue' makes it feel like a bit of a come-down as it isn't as musically strong as those previous tracks. #7 is probably the right place for it here, but 'Shape' should be above this.
February 14, 20223 yr 'Shape' is truly awful and I will agree is much too high. 'Supernatural' is decent and probably about mid-level, and I do like a bit if AWDF. I love how "of its time" it sounds now.
