she seems to be chucking out songs hoping it sticks but i think this one will do well considering how much it was spammed on tiktok

Love this and love Tate!!! So happy it's off to a strong start for her - I do wish "feel like shit" and "working" had been hits as well for her though.

Tate McRae does seems to have mixed both the pop punk revival and 80s Weeknd style trends for 'she's all i wanna be'. Its quite a good song.

The song is definitely better than 'You Broke Me First', but my God her voice is SO annoying!

I really like this but I don't think it goes as hard as it should. The chorus is good but it sounds like it's building up to something slightly more epic.

 

I definitely wish that 'Feel Like Shit' could have had this success.

Prefer the Billie-ish darkness of 'You Broke Me First' ( definitely one of my favourite songs from 2020) and her voice isn't great on this but yep I'd be up for this being anotehr hit.

Official video now out for this and I like it a lot. Also this is growing fast on me now too.

Meh, it's alright but this theme of "this girl is so much better than me" is getting really tiring now.

This is the first song from her that I'm actually liking. All for us forgetting 'you broke me first' was a thing and allowing this to become her signature hit instead x

This has really grown on me to the point I'm playing it quite regularly now, quite the turnround from you broke me first. Just needs to drop the pretentious lower case titles now.

Didn't expect this to be not getting any new peak after that debut at #24 on it's first week. Shame as it's her best song for me now which isn't surprising as uptempo Tate is better tbh.

This has grown on me quite a lot more as well - one of the best top 40 hits of the year so far for me which is quite a turnaround from 'you broke me first' being one of the worst top 40 hits of 2020 :lol: it is a shame it doesn't seem to be taking off majorly but at least having a pretty stable run so far rather than falling off the face of the planet after a week or two.
