February 6, 20223 yr Top 75 will be certain for both, Liam could even stay top 10! I think RHCP will land in the 30s. Id be very happy if that happens, fingers crossed.
February 6, 20223 yr wasn't expecting some of the newbies to be so high, particularly RHCP, which I think will sadly probably miss the t40
February 6, 20223 yr Why did they skip We Are You Now? Have R1 first look something against this track? Last week did not even report it in the top 20 and this week do not play it even though it is particularly high.
February 6, 20223 yr Have R1 first look something against this track? Last week did not even report it in the top 20 and this week do not play it even though it is particularly high. Last week it wasn't a fault of Radio 1 that it was missing from the update, it was absent on the OCC's report too. This week, I'm not sure but they also skipped Overseas in the top 10.
February 6, 20223 yr Could skip family madrigal play where are now But we need the bi-weekly grandkid round-up! :o
February 6, 20223 yr Gosh at Red Hot Chili Peppers being top 20 :o I haven't heard it yet but their first top 40 since 'Snow (Hey Oh)' would be much welcomed if it stays on top 40 (probably wont, typically). The Tate track might need another listen as I wasn't loving it like I did 'Feel Like Shit' but good for her getting another hit either way! Edited February 6, 20223 yr by Roba.

Actually 'Desecration Smile' was their last top 40 hit ('Snow' was the one before that) but either way their first top 40 for 15 years would really be quite something! Just looking through their discography and it's crazy that they only ever had 4 top 10 hits in the UK. I guess they were bigger album sellers than singles but even so they've had so many iconic singles that deserved to go top 10 - 'Under The Bridge', 'Californication' and 'Scar Tissue' to name but a few. Ah totally passed me by that went top 30 and tbh I didn't recall it until just checking it out now. A bit embarrassing considering I have the album too :kink:
February 7, 20223 yr Wonder if missing Apple streams on Friday due to that glitch prevented ‘War’ being First Look No.2. Guess find out tomorrow if it has at chance of beating ‘Peru’

February 7, 20223 yr Hopefully Black Country, New Road stay top 3! Though I don't think they're the sort of act to sell cheap bundles, especially in the band's current circumstances. Bastille's album chart peaks of 1-1-4-1 will look a bit strange! It's a shame they released 'Doom Days' on such a busy week. (Bruce Springsteen & Madonna debuted above them)
February 7, 20223 yr Mitski top 5 <3 How many compilations have the Divine Comedy had!! Just two! 1999 and this one. There was also 'Venus, Cupid, Folly & Time' in 2020, but that was just a big bundle of all their albums so far on CD & vinyl + some previously unreleased material.
