Another great photo and i love the nod to Kylies final scene when she left in the green mini.

Oh yeah, nevermind the numerous huge hits, albums and tours she's had over there (and still does to a reasonable degree), they were never interested in her because you didn't hear a song played in a bar. :lol:

 

her actual last hit single in Australia was 2007?

She had three more Top 20 hits in Australia beyond 2007. The Australian singles chart is similar to the UK chart though, it doesn’t favour older artists who don’t get strong streaming support.

 

Kylie still has a sizeable fanbase in Australia - Golden and Disco both reached #1.

Really really looking forward to this now, interesting how Charlene will sound now aswell as Kylies accent is very different from when she originally played Charlene.

Would be nice to see Especially For You in the Itunes top 100 ready in UK ready for tonight's episode

1.4 million ratings peak in Australia without catch up etc. The shows highest ratings since 2009, it also says its a huge jump for the show as its average daily rating in Australia is 100,000. This bodes well for UK ratings where the show is far more popular so especially for you will hopefully get a nice boost aswell.

 

Love that video....great that Mike and Jane have a proper scene in the last episode too. I watched yesterday's and Wednesday's episodes and a reference to Mike was dropped in on Wednesday.

Ya its good have a big part and tonight we get to say welcome Charlene, we have waited a long time no matter how short the stint is.

Great to see Kylie back with Jason on Ramsay Street…obviously she filmed her scenes in just one session on location.

 

Amazing how they set the wedding reception up around her Mini haha

 

 

Just about to watch it on catch up now - hopefully we’ll see a few Kylie tracks return to iTunes now like they have in Australia
