March 30, 20223 yr Yass for Republic of Adonia, Jadakissnia, Niceland and FARC as well <3 we are quite close to having a clean sweep of my top 10 of the semi through already now. Sovarasma and Dobago both gooduns as well! I heard a few songs off Hikaru's album due to some intriguing production credits (Floating Points and A. G. Cook) but 'Find Love' wasn't one I checked out so good to have discovered it through this as it's definitely one of the best I have heard from this era now! Ooops at Aesthetica not making it. It wasn't for me but I thought it'd be ok in such a pop heavy semi. Sorry if your anniversary has felt a little underwhelming eep D:

March 30, 20223 yr Author So that leaves us 4 songs, with only 2 spaces left in the final from Semi 1: FSR Rontvia Scherzland Mosquetania Buzzjack Mountain Scherzland suffered a 15% deduction and Buzzjack Mountain suffered a 33% deduction, but did that cost them a place in the final?

March 30, 20223 yr I want Mosquetania in the final from that lot, and wishfully thinking Buzzjack Mountain might have had a chance if they had voted.
March 30, 20223 yr Mosquetania I would've HOPED were a surer thing, so I'll plump for them and FSR Rontvia (with one of Scherzland / Buzzjack Mountain being the ones to lose out because of deduction - most likely BM).
March 30, 20223 yr FSR and Buzzjack Mountain are my faves from the remaining but I would quite like to see Scherzland qualifying too as that one was surprisingly good considering I'm not usually much into French pop at all. I think Mosquetania are probably the most likely qualifier of those 4 though (although of course they are no strangers to narrowly missing out...)

March 30, 20223 yr Yes! :cheer: This one means a lot, blanket DNQ predictions and all I wanted was to get through to the final because a lot of people I wanted to introduce it to are in the other semi. Thanks a lot to the voters! Some brilliant qualifiers here, and I’d not have expected Mosquetania to DNQ, the only one of my votes to miss out.

March 30, 20223 yr Oh wow at Mosquetania. I would have said they'd be a safe top 10 in the semi. A tune too. Aw at BM too. Was my 2 pointer at least so didn't waste too much.
March 30, 20223 yr Snake going full Snake ending up 21st after a deduction - that was the only one of my top 10 from my first listen that's failed to qualify (had it ranked 7th on first listen, I am going to reshuffle my ranking when I'm done relistening though), nevermind. I hope Snake will still keep to his word of voting in the final anyway. (also hope this does mean FLJ will be safe because I really can't see that song getting less than 34 points before deduction!) Glad to see FSR through, it was a bit of a scattered listen (sounds like several different songs stitched together) but still an enjoyable one that I'm hoping will grow on me more! Recycling recent winning artists is not proving a fruitful strategy for Mosquetania, oops...! (I wasn't a fan of that song at all not gonna lie but it is a surprising DNQ)
