Oh lord lol. This song is too iconic and too cheesy to ever be a good tech house song. It just really doesn't work? And I usually LOVE a nostalgic awful sample.

I love it! I think the sample works absolutely fine. I don't even find the original song cheesy, which might help based on the comments in here; from the circles I'm in, it seems to have escaped that guilty pleasure status that is associated with all other S Club 7 songs.
